@brandenflasch Please share a review after you get it all set up, also if there is any noticeable cooling or heating in installation room.

The numbers didn't make sense for heat pump water heater at normal pricing, but found a deal at ~50% retail and suddenly the ROI makes a lot of sense.

@Eric123xyz @LamarMK @Tesla_AI This!!! After price this was my next biggest issue, I can deal with taking over for parking lots because I’d rather park where I want anyway.

@LamarMK @Tesla_AI Please also bring back turn signal nudge so I can override the programmed route with my favorite shortcut without having to leave FSD completely. It should respond to the turn signal then immediately reroute to the final destination using my suggested shortcut.

Dear @Tesla_AI team, the speed profile issue is back again in FSD 14.3.2. Standard and Hurry feel broken. The car is very slow at reaching the speed limit, much less 5 over. You have to constantly tap the accelerator just to get up to speed. The second you let off, it stops maintaining it. Mad Max is iffy too. The community has spoken. We all want manual speed control back. Set the max at 5 over and let the car hold that always. Simple. Replace speed profiles with a drive mode selector. Let us pick our preferred driving lane and how often we want to pass cars. Keep a chill mode for people who want to stay at the speed limit. This change would make FSD feel perfect again. #bringbackspeedcontrol Who else wants manual speed control back? @elonmusk @aelluswamy

@justchillin230 @LamarMK Most people should be able to get 300,000 miles out of the battery in most EVs without a replacement. Basically as long as you aren’t baking it in the sun with a high state of charge or sitting for days with extreme low or high state of charge your fine.

You can get a brand new Tesla for $299 a month and recharge it at home for under $50 a month. No more spending $80 every week or close to $400 a month on gas. Those gas savings alone can cover your entire car payment plus your home charging cost. Going electric was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Getting a Tesla was the cherry on top. Why are you still paying for gas?

My wife and I were talking last night about how a 12 pack of drinks is $9 now and how in 2020 I used to buy them 4/$10. I decided to go back into my Walmart app and see what I was paying for a random grocery order. In January 2020 I paid $70.20 for 30 items, I added all of them to the cart again and repurchased them today. Today those 30 items were $165.42. That's a $95.22 price increase in six years time. That's a 135.6% inflation percentage. We can't go on living like this. I can't be the only one who feels this way.

@Gfilche @Tesla @grok Had this happen they will take you to nearest Tesla center and replace with OEM tire that matches the other tires. The tow is free, the tire is an outrageous price mine was like +$500. The only way I could justify what they charge because that tow would have cost me at least $250

American bought her Mazda vehicle for over $30,000. It came with remote start, that was one of the features she really wanted Now she’s trying to jailbreak her car because the feature has been disabled. Mazda now wants her to pay $10 per month to the remote start “Are you f*cking kidding me? It's already installed in my car. You want me to now pay you a subscription on top of the $30,000 car that I bought from you? Make that make sense — I bought this car because I wanted push to start. I want it to be able to start my car when I'm not in my car.” New buyers got a 3 year complimentary trial to use these advanced features. Now that her trial has ended, the Preferred Plan costs $10 per month, $120 per year, for full features including remote engine start and stop I researched and believe she’s mistaken. The physical push-to-start button inside the car is free. It’s the remote engine start feature via the MyMazda app you just pay for Still not acceptable. We need to ban making you pay for features in your own car

Rivian's UHF - $50 a month Ford Blue Cruise - $50 a month GM Super Cruise- $40 a month Tesla FSD - $100 a month At a glance you could say "I can't believe FSD is twice the price!". But if you compare the capabilities of all of these products, I think you'll likely come to the conclusion that FSD is actually the best value by a large margin.

@x0_MeatSuit @SawyerMerritt A phone charging makes little difference even directly plugged in. At most with heavy use would maybe be 25wh per device. At that rate it would take one device close to 30 hours to deplete 1% of the ev battery. Even with 4 devices in heavy use would take 10 hours to use 1 kWh.

all these cars need more range for road trips. if you have 2 kids in the back actively charging devices/using and someone in the front charging a phone you burn through battery. plus very little recharge on highway. then add ontop of that if its winter. as someone that has drove cross country there and back 5 times in a tesla. Anything that's in the 3hr range and one part of the destination is in the country. adds so much charging time. drive 15+ min out of the way to find a charger then charge then 15+ min to get back enroute. ends up adding 45+ min to trip.

@morpheusxtb @brandenflasch Then homeowners should make decisions that keep home prices down. Instead they are dead set on “protecting property values” by blocking new housing construction. You want higher values, then you pay higher taxes.

@JordanMcIn95191 @aakashgupta I know someone that had similar experience bought a $400 lawn mower. Took it out of the box and it had a large scratch in the paint (otherwise everything was fine) but wanted a new undamaged mower. Customer support told them to keep it and would just refund it.

@aakashgupta I accidentally bought a $3000 generator from Amazon which wasn't returnable. It was my fault, which is what I told a rep on the phone when I tried to figure it out. Amazon refunded the money and told me to keep the generator.

Run the math on why Amazon does this and it gets uncomfortable fast. A single customer service phone call costs $7 to $12 fully loaded. Agent salary, software, hold time, QA, escalation risk. The average refund request on Amazon is for an item under $15. Half the time it's under $8. The refund is literally cheaper than the conversation about the refund. Amazon ran this calculation at scale and realized that fighting a $9 return costs more in labor than just eating it.

If you were shopping EVs with a budget of ~$25k with reliability, warranty and space as primary considerations (family of 4), what would you pick? They were thinking Prologue as a good option and I don't have an argument against it, but not sure if there are others that should be considered.

Many people are scared to get a Tesla because they think they need to spend $5000 or more to install a charger at home. No you don't. I charge my Tesla using a regular 240v outlet in my garage. Same outlet as a dryer. Your local electrician can install one for under $500. Your

Why are people saying it's expensive to insure a Tesla? I insure a Cybertruck and a Model Y. Two drivers, full coverage with towing and rental for just over $200 a month. People are always shocked when I tell them that. They expected it to be way more. The insurance cost is one of the biggest myths holding people back from buying a Tesla. How much do you pay to insure yours?

If I can call a Tesla Robotaxi in Austin for a few bucks, why can’t I pay the same price to have my own car take me there with FSD? Tesla gets the same revenue, but doesn’t have to send a car. Or even cut the price 50% compared to Robotaxi pricing.
