@mrlf9332 They did follow it. The ability to challenge for an exception has been there all along. And I don't really care that he missed a game for a suspension. He missed two for the birth of his child and if that's not extraordinary circumstances, I don't know what is.

I love Jay Bilas, but I don't think Jaylen Brown is making All-NBA First Team. I think that's going to be: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Nikola Jokic Victor Wembanyama Luka Doncic Cade Cunningham Brown will get Second Team, and that's still a honor for one hell of a season.

Well the MCU is pretty unique and set an insanely crazy high bar where pretty much every movie for 20 movies or whatever up until Endgame was profitable and well received. It's ok to just acknowledge some things after it didn't work.....it's why they scrapped the Kang stuff....it wasn't working. I think they have a good plan in place now.... The most amazing thing about the MCU leading up to End Game that nobody ever talks about is that they did it all really without even using their best characters.....other than Spider-man.....they did all of that without the X-Men.

Since Endgame, the MCU has released 15 films to date, with a collective box office of 10 billion and change. They average out to 669 million per film. While this period of the MCU has been WILDLY inconsistent, and creatively challenged...it's still been profitable overall.

I’m not saying that. I’m saying the collective aggregate of movies without those two lost money for the studio. My point is that the new wave of characters they have tried to introduce has not done well. Guardians is over….Doctor Strange and Thor are old guard characters……there’s a reason they went back to the old well for Doomsday and Secret Wars. That doesn’t mean they can’t right this ship long term…..their big ace in the hole is rebooting the X men. I think they are gonna use the old guard to get them through the next two avengers movies and then soft reboot focusing on the X men (which is smart) You can say all of that….and also acknowledge that a lot of what they did post end game didn’t work out very well.

I think it's fair to have some nuance though in the conversation....the 2 films that did the best were largely on the backs of Fox and Sony characters and not the new wave of characters they tried to build the post Endgame MCU on. The movies built around those characters collectively lost the studio money. That's just a fact
