@Alex_Bramley3 I decided to do this exact same thing when talking to a colleague on Friday. You’ve saved me a lot of time and very happy to be supporting charity. Thank you ☺️

UPDATE: I’ve never made money from any of my resources. I strongly believe in sharing good practice and lessening workload. However, a good colleague of mine was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and so once live on @tes I’ll post the link with proceeds going to charity 💓

With all the excitement of @TheTraitorsUK final tonight I’ve decided to make a ‘School Edition’ Next week, my staff will discover their fate: a Faithful 💌 or a Traitor ☠️ The Traitors will aim to complete secret missions without being detected. This could be fun!

@MissMercer93 @AstreaDearne Thanks so much for outlining this. I wasn’t sure if they were nominated. I like that it’s the kids taking ownership of it. Amazing stuff!

@senorcordero Of course! The quality of the systems/teaching etc. was jaw droopingly good, I was surrounded by the most impressive teachers I’d ever worked with, I had to work hard to keep up with them & to be as good as them!

The time I had good work-life balance as a teacher&worked only 8am-4pm with no eves/weekends/hols was the time I taught in one of those famously strict schs,it makes a HUGE different to workload.Blows my mind when people are against those types of schs. They’re a dream to work in!
Laura McInerney@miss_mcinerney

Behaviour is almost never discussed by the government when they talk about tackling workload. And yet… (Yesterday’s @teachertapp)

@TeachLeadAAli I wish! Keep meaning to set up savings account but childcare and now interest rates on mortgage mean we have not managed to get these set up yet.

Without revealing who you are etc - I’m just interested, do you save a fixed amount a month for your child/children? Follow up questions too.

@Bethan_Southern @TeachLeadAAli Exactly this! The 6.5% teacher pay rise is going to be very little once I take out the child benefits I’m losing- all this whilst my mortgage and bills have gone up 1k in last year or so 👍

@TeachLeadAAli It’s only £50k to get rhe full amount. It’s ridiculous that the threshold hasn’t risen with inflation. Been the same since my first child 12 years ago.

Child benefit is so unfair- whilst totally needed for many, a household with both partners earning under £60k (£119,999 combined) can keep their child benefit but a household with only one partner earning over £60k (£60k combined) has to pay it back.

@MrBoothY6 Bought one from my daughter’s school and have never felt more like a Mum! It was a defining moment- now to tuck away in the tea towel drawer for thirty years- darn don’t have a tea towel drawer!!

Does any primary school still do that thing where the kids draw their own faces and then it gets printed on a tea-towel you can buy? Absolutely elite primary activity that was.

🗣 I’ve had a few requests to share my inset session on the power of routines - happy to share if you’d like a copy? Retweet and open DM’s. I will have to take the TLAC live models (they come with the book) out but this share shows which ones I used for the session 🙏🏻
