- Marketing automation. Every GitHub release of @AkkaDotNET , make a graphic using @htmlcsstoimage , a twitter thread, a LinkedIn thread, and post them all only after I approve. - Engineering automation. Receive webhooks from Seq when failures occur in @getsdkbin and investigate

Hearing "database" in so many internal and customer conversations when I walk around the PlanetScale office 📈🔥

Migrated to PlanetScale. Used Codex to upgrade to Django 6 and Vue 3. Did some light redesign work on it. Gonna keep this version up but probably add a banner redirecting people to Oru, because this still gets some traffic 😅

Databases are simultaneously the most interesting pieces of software in the world and the thing people want most to be "boring" tech. Availability, reliability, and performance are the big-three asks of a database. Postgres is > 1 million lines of C MySQL is > 4 million lines of C/CPP Incredible engineering effort goes into making boring tech.

@erikdunteman Went through a similar thing recently. My coach suggested it’s more due to the glycogen swings. High -> depleted -> high Fix was bit more fiber/fat preworkout + some intra workout carbs (sip Gatorade basically). Might work for you!

Any way to deadlift in the morning and not have it absolutely tank energy for the day?

Did you know @PlanetScale only has one product designer? If you want to work with a clearly incredible team as our second product designer email me: sam@planetscale.com

@Cal_Irvine Our booking tool does the same thing to me frequently. I think because the costs are so wildly different The cheap ones just really suck so I ignore the policy Then if it’s far, also paying for Ubers each day 😀

@mscccc I can probably book in policy just not so close to where I need to be as well 🤷🏻‍♂️ The only time I ever went to SF my sister lived there so I just stayed with her. I know nothing.

I have to go to SF for work and the only available hotel in policy that is near where I need to be is in the Tenderloin -> how much will this suck in reality? Please tag in people who actually know SF, not fear mongers 😅

I love the future. Saw a support email reporting an API bug. A cursor bot already saw it in sentry and opened a PR with the fix.

@mscccc That may be part of the issue! there's so much more space to notice my various maladies while I'm waiting for the agent to finish its turn

AI coding is fun and all but I really, really miss getting into flow state. Can't remember the last time I put on a drum n bass playlist, started coding, and forgot I had a body for 4 hours. Maybe faster models will solve this?
