@RogersHistory In North Leeds an independent primary closed last year and this has boosted numbers at other independent schools. Presumably a few have gone to state schools, but it’s been very good for business for the other indies.

So, have we seen the huge exodus of students out of private schools and mass closures? Have we seen a huge influx into state schools? I have always argued this wouldn’t happen and have largely agreed with the VAT policy but was told it would be Armageddon for the sector. My gut told me ppl would pay more in fees despite saying they couldn’t or wouldn’t.
