(11/12) Our preprint shows how a death domain signaling complex is not solely controlled by oligomerization but can integrate a phosphorylation regulatory switch to control signal transduction. This mechanism can be targeted with small molecule inhibitors like Zimlovisertib.

New trigger of human #lupus found by the @MajerOlivia Lab, @_HarshitaMishra. Mutations in UNC93B1 disrupt degradative sorting of TLR7 and cause #autoimmunty leading to systemic lupus erythematosus.
