@SecDuffy @USDOT Pete Buttigieg got the funding for all of North Texas highways and bridges to be rebuilt. He has brought in tens of thousands of jobs for North Texas. You've gone on a 7 month paid vacation while planes were crashing into firetrucks and helicopters. What exactly have you done??

Trump: Narcissistic conman doomed to fail
You’re a full of shit liar. You’re taking credit for what Pete Buttigieg did as Secretary of Transportation updating the NOTAM system in 2023. That’s what jackasses like you do. You have zero credibility. You did a stupid TV show on the taxpayer’s dime when you were on the clock. You say only private investors paid for the show. Dude, that was on our time. Your bloated leader will fire you soon enough. Give Fox News a call.

This is amazing. Now, there are no complaints about the Utah Data Center; they just threw them out. Now, registering a complaint with the data center will cost $15. I guess that's one way to stifle the opposition. #DemsUnited

Source after source told 60 Minutes they fear today’s insider trading scandal about military secrets is tomorrow’s national security scandal. If market-watchers can spot irregular trades, surely enemies can, too. And they’ll make their war plans accordingly. cbsn.ws/4uVMNdv

Context doesn't matter. It's a stupid ass outdated rule. It had nothing to do with the race. He didn't taunt a player, didn't touch anyone. Corny! The officials made it about them instead of letting young folks celebrate a major accomplishment.

This is ridiculous. And track and field gives their officials too much power. Imagine if an NFL or NBA ref could negate all points scored in the last 10 minutes of play off a single infraction. That's essentially what we do in track. There are no minor penalties. It's dumb.

Mallard Creek boys track and field was disqualified for unsportsmanlike conduct after winning the 4x400 relay in the final event of the day. Had the result stayed, the Mavericks would have won the team state championship. Instead, they remained in second place. Federal judge Kathleen Williams gave the parties until May 20 to explain, in writing, in what sense the United States government is actually defending public interests against a $10 billion lawsuit filed by the man who controls the agency being sued. White House and Justice Department officials are reportedly racing to settle before May 20. Not because the case is weak against them. Because a federal judge is five days away from examining whether the government is genuinely adversarial in a lawsuit where the plaintiff controls the defendant's boss. The proposed settlement: a $1.7 billion fund overseen by commissioners who serve at Trump's pleasure, removable without cause, with no obligation to disclose how disbursements are decided. The text explicitly leaves "entities associated with Trump" eligible to file claims against the fund. The IRS has fought every other lawsuit arising from Charles Littlejohn's leak, arguing the agency isn't liable for contractor misconduct. Littlejohn was convicted. He is serving five years. That legal position has been consistent - until the plaintiff became president and his Treasury Secretary became the nominal defendant. The judge is watching. The settlement is moving. May 20 is five days away.

On March 23, more than $800 million was staked on the chance of oil prices dropping. Fifteen minutes later, an announcement from the president sent the price of oil plummeting by more than 10%. It has not been determined if the trade was made with inside information or if the trader was in the U.S. cbsn.ws/3PIBGFM

When we won the 4x100 state title in HS, we were talking crazy once we hit the finish line. Clapping, jumping. I think one of my teammates went into the stands. Not because we were taunting but because we were excited. This celebration was not egregious. Give them their title.

Lord… this was the “flexing” the kid was warned over?? Then they DQ’d the team & took their NC state title because he raised his hand while crossing the finish line in the last race? What a bunch of bullshit.

I do not think this is unsportsmanlike at all. It's not taunting. It's not even close. That's a hugely consequential judgment call. In that situation, it ought to be quite clear.

A DQ on the final event of the day cost Mallard Creek's boys' track team a state title. A Mavericks runner raised his hand as he crossed the finish line. Story, full results charlotteobserver.com/sports/high-sc…
