Hey, #AwesomeAdmins, I'm getting ready to plan with my team in December. Below are the features my team covers. What is something you would like to see improved in my feature area? I can't guarantee it will make it to my roadmap, but curious as to what's on your mind.

@VivekMChawla @rsoesemann My experience is stakeholders demanding that functionality be moved to Retool because all they’ve seen on Salesforce is business logic written as DML automation with the save button as the UI.

Very painful one line item at a time. I then was able to install the new package with the same metadata in the org.

@muchavie @PhilW_SF @azlus @ImJohnMDaniel @rsoesemann @rakremi @SalesforceArchs @SalesforceDevs @burki_db You can't have overlapping metadata in your dependencies or installed packages (with a few limited exceptions). You have to move the metadata from A to B, build new versions of A and B, and install those new versions A and B, in that order.

Completely agree w/@rsoesemann on this. @rakremi and @azlus have done an amazing job detailing the principles of how to compose enterprise class applications. So many good nuggets of information here and definitely worth every @SalesforceArchs and @SalesforceDevs time. #DF22

You can move metadata from one Unlocked Package to another without ever using a browser, much less the Salesforce UI. Move file(s) from A to B, create a new A version, new B version, install new A version, install new B version. I may make a video on that.

@rsoesemann I think we should have a reporting tool which does not rely on repot types.

Evan builds "Deluxe" Report types that solve this by turning the direction of Report types upside down No Joining from Parents to up to 4 children but instead starting with a crossing point child with many parents. From there add Parent Relationship fields up to SIX levels.

@aoristdual Good test design is an outgrowth of the engineering culture. Salesforce mythology says that you can build software without engineers so it’s a battle to build an engineering culture but I think that’s the path.
