This is terrifying @Ledger.
I just received a physical scam letter at my home address in Italy 🇮🇹
How the hell do scammers have access to the addresses of Ledger users? This goes way beyond phishing emails now.
People’s safety is literally at risk.

@Alexshark84 Certainly seems like an incredibly plausible solution to some of the ambiguous parts of existence as well though yeah?
English

@multivrsstudios I'm hearing these thoughts more and more often.
I've read several books on the topic and listened to several podcasts.
It's all a bit ambiguous.
But I do believe that the "system" exists.

@shaawniaam @EdmontonOilers @CHED880 You know what…. Imma give you the W. That’s true. Though I doubt it wasn’t from oilers end I can’t confirm. Could be Vegas. You’re right.

Where the heck did you determine the leak came from the oilers? There is know confirmed source for which where Frank got his news, nor at this point is it fully confirmed his information was accurate. For all we know the leak came from someone on the Vegas side.
You’re just saying random stuff dog.

The #Oilers have relieved head coach Kris Knoblauch & assistant coach Mark Stuart of their duties. nhl.com/oilers/news/re…

@shaawniaam @EdmontonOilers @CHED880 A) A leak from the oilers has something to do with the oilers.
B) Leaks of such nature while still trying to professionally deal with current coach is an indication of how the ships run internally.
C) Don’t call me a parrot dog.
English

@multivrsstudios @EdmontonOilers @CHED880 Dude. Frank was the one who leaked the info. It had nothing to do with the oilers. You’re just parroting some narrative you heard.
English

@PharmerBrob @EdmontonOilers @CHED880 😂 yeah didn’t expect this to really hit a nerve like it did lol. Oopsie.
English

My belief is that the @EdmontonOilers will target an Experienced Head Coach with Gravitas who has had a history of having structure and process in his team's game...and has won before!

@deltasauce @Christine_Clue A time when you know in the moment that you’re experiencing what will be positive nostalgia on day. Living those emotions in the present.

For sure, it’s a two way path and that’s where I think the cultural swaying pushes folks to decide what digital assets they’re willing to trade/sell with no royalties vs the ones they decide to. It’s like tipping eh? Some services we do some we don’t, we’ve culturally figured that out, I think we can do the same here - PFPs, collectables & other projects in and of their nature should have engines that create longevity and financial growth internally, a company’s idea of strong runway shouldn’t be “we’ll survive off of royalties”. But for artists, that engine is different. They can’t produce like the robust teams of projects. Their product is different. So maybe, even though we can choose not to, we should ;)
English

They are pretty tough to enforce onchain though. You can have popular exchanges like opensea enforce them. But if you can transfer without them then dapps can always be built to work around them.
Trad art is similar. You can enforce them at auction houses, but people can just work around that if they want to.
I'm not a huge fan of the concept. I think it goes against the idea of true digital ownership. I own this thing, I can do whatever I want with it, and there are no third parties.
I think a better norm to set would be that artists only sell 80 or 90 percent of their works initially if they think they will become more popular in the future.
English

To be quite frank, if you don’t support royalties then gtfo of artists collections. There’s plenty of money making strategies in this space where your greed isn’t so palpably impactful on a single, hard working individual.
You have all the options at your disposal and you choose the path that uses love, creativity, beauty, expression and narrative and your thought is “How can I squeeze as much money out of this as I can.” Disgusting and pisses me off.
Artists deserve their royalties.

Just finding out that this 2020 piece 'Resignation' on @SuperRare has changed hands 5 times since January. I remember when royalty alerts via email would inform artists about secondary sales. Sad. Terribly sad.

@TSNRyanRishaug It feels like the oilers success has been fail forward. We’ve never had a backbone as a team. Never a structured, solid confidence. We’ve had fleeting moment of brilliance that has masked the gaping flaws. The organization has never been run well.
English

If the Oilers plan all along was to let Knoblauch go, then their handling of this has been horrendous.
If they wanted to explore Cassidy as an option, and if it didn’t work out retain Kris, then it was risky - if it got out, they’d be scuttling a coach they just re-signed and were considering keeping.
The fact it got out made a return for Knoblauch impossible.
Arguably the most important off season in 30 years for this franchise gets off to a rough start.
Have to think Bowman and Jackson are very much on the clock as well. Fatigue and injuries only go so far in masking a body of work with some massive mistakes at critical junctures.
Brett Kulak with a series winner last night puts an exclamation point on mishandled assets and mis-reads on players.
Will be an interesting few months for the organization.
