সিলেটে ১২ বছরের নাবালিকা মেয়েকে হাত-পা বেঁধে ধর্ষণ করল হিন্দু দর্জি সিলেটের বিয়ানীবাজার উপজেলার মোল্লাপুর ইউনিয়নের কালিবাড়িবাজারে নবদ্বীপ বৈদ্য নামের ৫৫ বছর বয়সী হিন্দু দর্জি ১২ বছর বয়সী এক নাবালিকা মেয়েকে হাত-পা বেঁধে মুখে কাপড় দিয়ে ধর্ষণ করেছে। জানা যায়, গত শুক্রবার (১২ সেপ্টেম্বর) জুমার নামাজের সময় স্থানীয় কালিবাড়িবাজারে নবদ্বীপ বৈদ্যের দোকানে এ ঘটনা ঘটে। ঘটনার সময় দোকানে সন্দেহজনক অবস্থায় কিশোরী ও নবদ্বীপ বৈদ্যকে দেখতে পান স্থানীয় কয়েকজন যুবক। তারা ভিডিও ধারণ করেন এবং কিশোরীকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদের পর সে জানায়, তার সঙ্গে খারাপ কিছু ঘটেছে। প্রাথমিকভাবে বাজার কমিটির সাধারণ সম্পাদক সন্দ্বীপ পাল বিষয়টি সমাধানের মাধ্যমে ধামাচাপা দেয়ার চেষ্টা করে। কিন্তু সামাজিক যোগাযোগ মাধ্যমে ভিডিও ছড়িয়ে পড়লে, ব্যাপক ক্ষোভের সৃষ্টি হয়। ভুক্তভোগী কিশোরীর বাবা জানিয়েছেন, তারা স্থানীয় না হওয়ায় প্রথমে ভয়ে মুখ খোলেননি। পরে স্থানীয়দের সহযোগিতায় মেয়েকে প্রথমে বিয়ানীবাজার স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে এবং পরবর্তীতে সিলেট এমএজি ওসমানী মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালের ওসিসিতে নিয়ে যান। তিনি বলেন, ‘আমার মেয়ের সঙ্গে যে অন্যায় হয়েছে, তার বিচার চাই। আমরা থানায় লিখিত অভিযোগ দিয়েছি।’
