Kaine said Rand Paul dropped his objection to passing the Gabriella Miller Kids First Research Act 2.0 after he committed to make sure there's "no overlapping programs where we're spending money to do the same thing" The Senate version of the bill included additional $$, which is what led to the dispute, but Dems ultimately settled for House bill

The physician must try to save fetus unless this would increase the risk of the pregnant patient's death or impairment.  Fetal heartbeat was present, and early stages of sepsis are not life-threatening

You said this was medical malpractice, however, state law states "The patient must have a life-threatening condition and be at risk of death or 'substantial impairment of a major bodily function' if the abortion is not performed."

On the day of her baby shower, 18-year old Nevaeh Crain began to miscarry. The Texas teenager went to the ER THREE TIMES and they would not help her. They WOULD NOT HELP HER because the abortion ban there would have made it a crime. Now she is dead. WHAT THE FUCK ARE WE DOING!!

@YouKnoImHim @JoJoFromJerz Medical provider here. No malpractice or incompetence (other than by the govt). Until the mother is ACTIVELY in a life-threatening situation, doing anything to intervene is considered "elective." She had to be near death to act. They did, and it was too late. Hope this helps

So we have 2 stories here. The first, was blatant malpractice and incompetence and not related to abortion laws. The second happened long before Roe was overturned, and had nothing to do with abortion laws. Jo is pushing a non issue, and using these stories to fear monger because Kamala is losing.

Today I had to explain to my kids why I'm so worried. If I were to get pregnant again, termination any time before my uterus ruptured (again) would be considered elective. I barely made it last time. My kids don't deserve for their mother to be murdered by politicians #vote
