I think this is the main reason why everyone is so frustrated with the rules of the game. This is a FOUL. Spence beat Messi to the ball and Messi stomps on his foot. FOUL. The play goes on and they end up scoring the winner. No VAR intervention, no mention of it. Goal stands.

Does anyone else remember Argentina vs Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup? Because I still haven't forgotten what happened that night. Messi gave Argentina the lead early, Victor Moses equalised from the penalty spot, and Nigeria were on the verge of reaching the knockout stage. Then came the moment that still leaves a bitter taste... Marcos Rojo clearly handled the ball inside the box. The referee, Cüneyt Çakır, went to VAR, reviewed the incident... and somehow decided it wasn't a penalty. Even John Obi Mikel confronted him afterwards, and, according to Mikel, the referee admitted the ball had hit Rojo's hand but simply said he didn't know why VAR told him not to award the penalty. Minutes later... Rojo scored the winner that sent Argentina through and knocked Nigeria out. One of the most controversial World Cup refereeing decisions involving Nigeria... Yet somehow, we hardly ever talk about it. Does anyone else still remember that robbery? 🇳🇬💔

@TSAdedara Wrong. That’s a penalty all day. They’re both going for the ball. I don’t need to touch the ball as a striker to have a foul called on me if someone kicks me.

If it’s a clear cut penalty, it doesn’t need 200 replays for a referee to make up his mind. If you start showing different angles to prove to the referee that he made a wrong decision, maybe then it’s no longer a clear and obvious error.

@MoumixAit @TSAdedara The analysis is incorrect. In fact it was tielemans who came in way of the clearance. The defender was already in action to slide the ball out and attacker put his foot between his action!! How is that a foul on the attacker? If anything it should be a foul on the defender

@amit98764 @aryakthinks Illogical people like you create the problem. Its the car reversing thats at fault. You cannot ever reverse your car on a highway. Its not allowed and its a serious road hazard. The driver reversing must have understood and so should you.

@aryakthinks People's of your logic only create the problem. Scorpio was at fault. He must have seen the approaching car. He didn't even tried to change the lane. Other car was wrong to reverse. But sometimes signages are not so proper. What to do ? Good around for 100kms more to correct ??
