🚨 Arne Slot: “I congratulate Arsenal on winning the league, Mikel and his staff did a tremendous job”. “But they have been a different champion than last time, it's first time in 30 years 40% of goals had from set pieces!”. ⛳️ “Luis Enrique said they are the best off the ball in our league — and I agree”.

another fun in-product announcement! designed the svgs in figma and then built the animation and movement in cursor, this was SO fun to work on because I knew the animation would land in prod exactly as I intended

FIFA/UEFA needs to be run by ex-players and managers who have made enough money in their career to do it for the love of the game and beyond corruption and commercial interests. Constantly diluting the events due to greed
Vuk Vukovic@wolf_vukovic

I can see two main reasons why this is the case and why the World Cup 2026 might be a total commercial flop. 1. the pricing of tickets is insane. You cannot price the #5 most popular sport in the US (5% viewership) as the #1 popular sport (NFL, 41% viewership). This doesn't sell to Americans and it certainly doesn't sell to Europeans or South Americans who aren't used to such high prices for sporting events. Especially for the group stage where the majority of the games are going to be super boring. 2. Which brings us to the second problem - expanding to a 48 team tournament. No one gives a shit about watching Curacao, Haiti, Cape Verde, etc. (No disrespect to any of these countries, the quality is just not there). And imagine all the exciting matches like Uzbekistan vs Kongo, or Cape Verde vs Saudi Arabia, or New Zealand vs Iran, or Curacao vs Ecuador, or Canada vs Qatar, or Haiti vs Scotland, etc. Again, no disrespect, their fans are surely excited, but for the rest of us it's a game no one will watch except a limited number of ppl from those countries. So don't expect a lot of fans on the stands for any of those games. Fans are in it for the quality, not quantity. FIFA made a big mistake in expanding the tournament as it sacrificed quality for quantity. And now they are surprised ticket sales are not going well. Sponsors got their allocations, great, but even they are having trouble giving the tickets away. The whole thing will turn into an event without spectators. Which is a sad thing for football. Organizations like FIFA/UEFA keep ruining it, and fans will keep loosing interest.

What’s happening in the UK has Bill Maher realizing just how “f*cked up” the country has become. “Every time I think this country’s too woke, I look at what’s going on in your country, and I’m like, ‘Wow, these people are really f*cked up.’” “How did England get so leftist?” The UK is now banning the sale of cigarettes to anyone born after 2009… EVER. That means if it’s the year 2040, and you’re 30 years old because you were born in 2010, you still can’t buy cigarettes. It might sound like a good thing to some, but Maher can see it’s just another wing of the nanny state deciding what you can or can’t do as an adult. “It’s illegal to buy cigarettes. Why? I mean, don’t people get to make their own mistakes? Don’t we get to do what we want to do? I mean, you’re an adult, and you can’t have a cigarette if you want?” Maher’s British guest suddenly got defensive when he pointed out how the United Arab Emirates paused government scholarships for students wanting to study in the UK, citing fears they could become “radicalized” over there. “Fake news,” she said. “This idea London is a no-go zone… people walking around with the Sharia law… A lot of that’s whipped up.” “Two Jews did get stabbed this week,” Maher fired back. This is a two-minute exchange worth watching.

@lammy83 @VigilantFox I was in New Orleans a month ago. The most dangerous city in the US. Never did I feel unsafe. You need to leave the UK once in a while. The UK is deeply fucked.

John Ternus first thing when he becomes CEO in September will be to launch iPhone Fold. Even priced at (prob minimum) $2,499, it’s going to move absurd volume…and sell the highest tier Apple Care plans with all the potential surface area for accidents.
Saurav@Saurav_DJ47

Foldable iPhone Ultra confidential document leaked 👀 • ~9.2mm folded, ~4.7mm unfolded • Thinner than earlier 11mm rumors Big camera bump expected with dual 48MP sensors. Apple may switch to a punch-hole selfie (no Face ID), with Touch ID on the side.

I only used the storyboard shown above the video as a reference image in Seedance on Runway, and I chose "Multi-Frame" instead of "Keyframe" The prompt is written as an overall description of the style, and intent, and then each frame is described with the appropriate motion to total 15 seconds. No other keyframes or extracted frames from the storyboard

ChatGPT made a storyboard from a single reference image, then I used Seedance 2.0 to animate the storyboard shots:

Después de la chilena de Cristiano y de la bolea de Zidane, este es el mejor gol en la historia de la Champions y no pienso discutirlo.
