Major media outlets somehow have a near complete blackout on #COVID and #LongCovid issues recently. The effects on our society are palpable but near invisible when media is contributing to a blackout of coverage. It should make us ask why. Even if you don’t care about COVID much, it should upset you when there is radio silence on news topics despite people still suffering (think Norfolk Southern train derailment the first week that it happened before Twitter lit up on it to give it sunshine). Next time there is a silent public health crisis in which thousands or millions suffer, the media needs to recognize they are complicit.








(1,2) After Parkland, we passed the MSD Public Safety Act in Florida. One of the important things that it did was raise the age to 21 for firearms purchases. In spite of legal challenges from the NRA, it has been upheld. Tomorrow, the extremists in the House will hold hearings
