The framework would be something like Skenes to the Pirates for ~$9.0 million (~$700k savings) and Crews to the Nationals for $9.4 million ($500k over-slot). One exec called the idea and numbers “sketchpad pencil fodder” and not representative of any actual negotiations yet.
