@abdul_uxui @DanielAyomideUX Well, I will say it's all depends on the nature of the industries and context. Most NASA engineers have PhD, so are you saying that is not a good scheme?

That’s exactly what I’m trying to say. Your certificate doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things. Most of Apple’s greatest hires are either dropouts or have just a BSc. Many current recruiting processes will disregard you for a big role if you only have a BSc, but Apple is just different. Their recruiting process needs to be studied.

Just realized the new Apple CEO, John, is going to lead the $4 trillion company as a BSc holder. That could never happen in my country 🤦🏿.

When a woman can't communicate, she thinks everything is an argument. When a woman h@tes accountability, she thinks everything is an attack. So when her man tries to express his displeasure, she reverts into defensive mode instead for her to understand the situation. When your man tries to correct you and you refuse to change but will rather argue everything, — You are wasting your time. He won't marry you. If he did, he has set himself up for failure.

@BukkyOA It seems we have the same boss, ma Because this is literally all that my boss does as well. The only challenge there is the workaholic part, I haven't used 2sec in my annual leave, I am so shy to send my leave request because he hasn't gone on leave as well 😅

He’ll take me to important meetings, ask me to take a lead and prep me ahead of time. He will help review emails to top stakeholders and ask me to send them. He will do the heavy lifting, solve a technical problem, explain it to me, and ask me to present it as though I solved it. He will mention my name in meetings and volunteer me for opportunities. During the performance review, he will provide the best feedback with examples of all he’s helped me achieve, and he will frame my development points as though they are not a big deal. He will openly support my ideas and have my back if any team member comes on to me. It was also the season I worked the hardest in my career because he is a workaholic. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Nigerians piss me off so much mehn. The queen bee is definitely trapped in that house hence the swarm of bees settling there. Normal people would have called bee keepers to come and relocate the bees but Nigerians will call on God for something that requires common sense.

Marriage should not scare you. What should scare you is getting married to the wrong spouse. That is why you need to stay close to your father if he's still alive. That is why you should cohabit at intervals. That is why you must put money aside, & test your commitments. That is why women should not love men. That is why men should stop stealing. That is why if you're not virgins, you must test your sexual compatibility. That is why you must know and align with your tribe and religion. That is why you must ask questions & do proper background check, before you marry. That is why you must never turn your back on God. That is why you must choose her mother before you choose her. That is why the man must be financially transparent and the woman must be financially accountable. That is why the woman must not be caught in infidelity. That is why you should not be too quick to break up and make up, because "insects" can slip through the cracks. That is why both of you must fight, quarrel, and use each episode as a teaching and learning moment. That is why the man must be older but not with a very wide gap. That is why a man must not be with a woman that is richer, more educated and more exposed than he is. That is why I am here. Tell yourselves this: As a woman: "I want to be sincere in this relationship. I want it to be my last. I will respect my man & create boundaries for him. I will not love him, & I will not enable him but support him & let him lead me. I want to be feminine & I don't want to compete with my man. I'll sacrifice and invest in him with the hope that he's investing in the future of both of us" As a man: "I want to love this woman. But if I'm struggling to love her, I want to be deliberately committed & kind to her. If I cheat, I'll not rub my cheating on her face. I will not steal to take care of this woman if I marry her. I'll work hard and lead this woman right. I will always look up to God for direction & blessing and I'll not hate my father. I will not be a mommy's boy & I'll put this woman first before my mother. I will protect her from my family, & protect my family from her. I will learn to make sweet love to her, & treat her like a queen". So help me God. End.

Dear Accountants, Your ICAN is useful ONLY in Nigeria and West Africa. You may need to do conversions to use it elsewhere. Very few countries recognize it. Get ACCA instead.

6.5 years ago, as a 300-level undergrad in the University of Lagos, with a perfect 5.00 CGPA, I walked into my first Big 4 audit internship interview, feeling invincible. I thought my grades alone would secure the job—so I didn’t prepare much. Spoiler alert: after 95 interviews since, I can confidently say it was my worst experience. What questions did I struggle with the most: 1. Tell me about yourself. 2. Tell me about a time you failed. 3. What’s happened in the news recently that relates to this role? 4. Why should we hire you? 5. Why this company? 6. Why Audit? Looking back, I must have landed that role by grace. For all my undergrads and fresh grads, I’ll be sharing tips on how to ace these questions soon. Stay tuned!

Signs she is using you 1) She makes excuses not to meet you or cancel plans at the last moment without any reason. 2) Her phone keeps ringing but her whatsapp "last seen" says otherwise.
