I have been a first officer on a B787 for 11 years, and have over 7100 hours flying it. I am a huge fan. I will switch over to captain on it in a few years, but like my schedule now. I get 19 days off work - without vacation. And get to fly to places like Singapore, Tahiti, Seoul, London, Australia, etc.

Such a jerk. Do you have any idea how important it is as a senior to feel confident that you have enough money to live out your life and not end up bankrupt or in some two bit senior place? My kids are their own agents and all do what they need to do. Not my responsibility to make sure they have a home.

If you're a boomer in your 60s and 70s and you own property and are well off but your children are struggling and can't even buy a home, what the hell are you doin? Your time is over. It's their time. Help them. Be a good parent, do whatever it is you need to do... sell the house if you need to, give them some kickbacks to help buy their first home, etc. Life is short. Be a good parent and don't squat on stuff that doesn't matter. Give them their time.

I've worked hard to create my own content for a long time, yet he continues to bring up the past. I'm not sure what his motives are, itโ€™s a surprise to me to see this post popping up now. I know many guys have started badmouthing me after reading his post without knowing the full context ๐Ÿ™‚ TL;DR: I hadnโ€™t stolen his content CONSISTENTLY. THIS IS AN EXAGGERATION. @chamath is super smart, but his analysis on the Joe Rogan show is totally wrong and goes back to his Democrat roots. He fails to recognize the the middle class is being hollowed out due to more people going to upper middle class. He thinks you can tax corporations more without them leaving for other countries where taxes are lower. I do like his idea of the really wealth getting together and deciding on ways to spend their wealth on bettering society. But I don't want Elon to take his money out of Tesla while it is still building and millions will benefit from what he's doing as an incredible allocator of resources.

TESLA SHAREHOLDER RIGHTS Was McCormick Biased? New evidence is out that should warrant an investigation about her possible bias in Tornetta v Musk. SHAREHOLDERS FOUGHT BACK Chancellor McCormick may not have thought Tesla shareholders would fight back - BUT WE DID. I hired the legal equivalent of Seal Team 6 to intervene as an objector in Delaware in Tornetta v Musk. FIRE TORNETTA? Tesla shareholders wanted to fire Tornetta. Chancellor McCormick is supposed to continuously evaluate Tornettaโ€™s suitability (*Youngman v. Tahmoush*, 457 A.2d 376 (Del. Ch. 1983) a suitability my team of legal all-stars specifically challenged in filings and hearings: โ€œWe canโ€™t fire Mr. Tornetta. The shareholders, we canโ€™t fire him. We can fire the directors, but we canโ€™t fire him.โ€ The court must continually evaluate his suitability. His failure to curb his counselโ€™s greed and his attack on our votes show heโ€™s abandoned any duty to us.โ€ Don Verrilli, My Counsel at the Ratification Hearing BIAS? This โ€œLikeโ€ by the Chancellor was while the case was ongoing. This โ€œLikeโ€ by Katie M was before my counsel (MTOโ€™s Don Verrilli, Aychut Phadke, Elaine Goldberg; Margrave Lawโ€™s Anthony Rickey; Stanfordโ€™s Joe Grundfest) paid for expert witnesses, drafted & filed multiple briefs and we traveled to the Fee Hearing, Ratification Hearing and Delaware Supreme Court Appeal to represent the interests of Teslaโ€™s real shareholders. Delaware - Should the Chancery Court be absent from the appearance of Bias? Because, Shareholders like me are now asking - Was the case rigged from the start? How can we not?
Robert Anderson@ProfRobAnderson

Today there is concerning new evidence of bias in the Delaware Chancellor's handling of Elon Musk's cases in the Chancery Court. Again, the evidence is a LinkedIn "reaction" by Chancellor McCormick to a post about a case involving Musk. This time is different, however, because it involved a case the Chancellor herself was actively presiding over at the time of the reaction--the $55 billion Musk compensation case. By way of background, you may remember the recent incident where Chancellor McCormick's LinkedIn account "supported" a derogatory post about Musk's loss in a California case. After Musk's attorneys moved for recusal, the Chancellor blamed "suspicious activity" for the LinkedIn reaction and said she did not "support" the post. However, the Chancellor reassigned the Musk cases anyway. The Chancellor has never disclosed what, if anything, was resulted from the "suspicious activity" report she said she filed with LinkedIn. Unfortunately, it turns out the "support" reaction to a derogatory post about Musk wasn't even close to the most problematic of Chancellor McCormick's reactions on LinkedIn. And if this had been known at the time, it is likely that McCormick would have needed to recuse or reassign the Musk cases. Two years ago, after Chancellor McCormick handed down her $55 billion decision against Musk, the BLBG law firm that litigated the matter against Musk posted about the win McCormick handed them in the case. They boasted about their "recent victory in the headline-grabbing case against Tesla, a historic decision that nullified CEO Elon Musk's $55.8 billion compensation package." Chancellor McCormick reacted to the plaintiffs' lawyers post with the "celebration" reaction, as shown in the screenshot. Just to be clear, this "celebration" was in reaction to a post about the victory of the plaintiffs' lawyers regarding the case the Chancellor herself decided. She "celebrated" a post by one side about her own decision in a case. More disturbingly, the case was not even over. Chancellor McCormick was still presiding over this case for the attorneys' fees and ratification stages. She later awarded these very plaintiffs' lawyers $345 million in fees and rejected Tesla's shareholder ratification. The case was later reversed by the Delaware Supreme Court and the fee was slashed. In light of this additional evidence, Chancellor McCormick's "suspicious activity" explanation for her "support" reaction on a derogatory Musk post seems less credible. We now know that Chancellor McCormick has a record of "celebrating" anti-Musk posts, in this situation in a case she was actively presiding over. One might also question whether she operates her LinkedIn account in a deceptive way. The account is clearly operated as a professional account (almost all the posts and reactions relate to the Chancery Court or Delaware practitioners), yet the Chancellor lists her name as "Katie M.", and her occupation as "Delawarean." This makes it difficult for the public to find and scrutinize the account. Although these are open secrets in Delaware, it seems this is her way of communicating support for favored constituencies. I'm sure everyone will draw their own conclusions from this based on their priors. I personally think it is time for the Delaware legislature or Supreme Court to take action. Every time the Chancellor does something like this, businesses lose confidence in Delaware's courts.

Regarding the OpenAI case, the judge & jury never actually ruled on the merits of the case, just on a calendar technicality. There is no question to anyone following the case in detail that Altman & Brockman did in fact enrich themselves by stealing a charity. The only question is WHEN they did it! I will be filing an appeal with the Ninth Circuit, because creating a precedent to loot charities is incredibly destructive to charitable giving in America. OpenAI was founded to benefit all of humanity.

I agree with that - I am keeping TSLA, but there is always risk of the grifters that try to tank a deal the company needs. I will be DCA into SpaceX going forward. Likely still buying TSLA too , and havenโ€™t determined what ratio I will use to allocate cash between the two. I need to see the prospectus. And start tracking both companies and their execution. I also have saved some cash for the SpaceX IPO too (and amount dwarfed by my large Tesla position, but 10x what I invested in the days following Teslaโ€™s IPO). People should do what works for them. This is what I have chosen. Originally I was going to invest half/half. That changed because I see the synergies between Tesla and SpaceX and a strong argument for a merger. Selling a large chunk of Tesla to chase SpaceX after the IPO could result in significantly less shares in the merged company - if a merger happens. But, I canโ€™t imagine not owning SpaceX, and I wonโ€™t leave that up to a vote - or out of my complete control. I will buy shares continuously until such date there may be a merger vote announced . My strong conviction is that a merger is absolutely required. For Tesla to realize ambitions like replacing 1.6 Billion cars on the road, and 100 Million Optimus: Tesla needs chips and capital. SpaceX is solving for both, and SpaceX needs Teslaโ€™s chip design. Should be a win/win. But then the grifters pile on, trying to sell Tesla investors on their financial advisory services and create false narratives and fear. They clearly donโ€™t care about investors and lack the ability to do clear fact-based analysis: An hour of Elon Muskโ€™s time can be worth 100 Billion - it shouldnโ€™t be spent on useless bureaucracy and red tape like board approvals and conflict committees. It โ€œmay workโ€ to continue as a JV isnโ€™t really a thing. A JV MUST WORK for Tesla to scale.
