It took a little over 28 hours but I finally completed the 100KM Jurassic Coast Challenge. It was exhausting but I’m so proud to have seen it through to the end. Here’s me questioning my life decisions at 1am on Sunday morning with a marathon to go and me at the finish at 11am.

Average Top 100K has 23 players this week excluding captain counting as double… So basically 11 doublers + 1 single average

@FPL_Winnersh I like Scott over Tavernier. Not sure about Brighton mids. But love the approach. This could dump you out of the top 5K or propel you to top 100

I've held firm. Free Hit locked in 🔒 Rank 670 No Haaland, no Semenyo, no Leeds defence, no Welbeck, no Tavernier. Probably a disaster, but it's either play safe or take a shot at a top 100 finish! #FPL

@FlapjackFpl I guess like you say, there are a load of mad opinions thrown around on here and why we end up gravitating towards people whose opinion we respect.

@FPLfrasier He’s a top player who United are looking at after he’s proven himself. It’s funny how every Football Manager pick eventually gets linked to United. I think I first got him in the 2019 version.

@FPLfrasier @AliceTalksFooty I hope United are keeping an open mind about that 6 position. I feel like there are quite a few great 8s being talked about and hopefully one of those get over the line. I’ve not had the same confidence in all the 6s being linked and it’s arguably the more important position.

Hi @LFC ❤️ My brother Carl is a lifelong Liverpool fan and loves Dominik Szoboszlai. He’s currently battling terminal cancer, and Liverpool is one of the few things that still brings him joy. A short video message from Dom or any of the players would mean the absolute world.

@FPLfrasier @AliceTalksFooty 2 top midfielders would be great imo. Mainoo and youth team for depth. Bruno can also play there if needed. I just don’t want them to compromise on Bruno and Mainoo new contracts and the quality of the two new midfielders. Seems we’re already resigned not to get Anderson

I just don’t get this 2 midfielder talk. United NEED to sign 3 midfielders. You cannot go into a season with Mainoo + 2 new midfielders for 2 positions for a 55 game season. That’s just not how football works.
UtdXclusive@UtdXclusive

🚨 JUST IN: Even if Kobbie Mainoo signs a new deal, Manchester United will look to sign 2 ELITE midfielders with Casemiro leaving and the club open to an Ugarte exit in the summer. [@JacobsBen, @UnitedStandMUFC]

@hosang @SwedishRumble @DataMB_ I see your point but I’m not sure these are all the most important statistics. E.g., PSxG - GA is the most important one and Lammens is doing well in that respect compared to recent United keepers (the key comparison point).

Cristiano Ronaldo joined from Sporting for £12m in his age 18 season. He had 14 goals & assists in 40 apps (168.2 mins per G/A). Florian Wirtz joined from Leverkusen for £116m in his age 23 season. He has 10 goals & assists in 30 apps (206.9 mins per G/A). In Cristiano Ronaldo's age 23 season, he won the Premier League, Champions League, the Ballon d'Or, FIFA World POTY, UEFA Club Footballer of the Year, PL Golden Boot, CL Golden Boot, European Golden Shoe, PL POTY & was named in the FIFPro World XI. Oh, and he had 51 G/A. I'm embarrassed for you.
Tandy@LFC_Tandy

🚨 Wirtz is 3 G/A away from surpassing Ronaldo’s debut season, with 10 less games played btw.

@FPLfrasier I like that him being 26 is mentioned as a problem… playing at a high level and still with his peak years ahead of him

You know why Virgil ain't here? Because his CB partner has always been injury-prone and he has chopped and changed so much during his 8 years at the club. Partners include; Lovren Gomez Matip Konate Phillips That is one of the many reasons why Virgil Van Dijk is the greatest CB ever to grace the Premier League.

@nate_fpl @FPLfrasier Same logic goes for Ragnick as well. With a passive man manager like Ole in a world cup year... good luck motivating these players to run, tackle, commit a bit more in the last 2 months of the season. They will chew him and spat him out.

Incredible that essentially two bad losses (Leicester and Watford) meant Ole was sacked despite finishing 2nd the previous season. In one of those games, we had a red card and we were playing with 10 players. Not saying those losses or the ones against Liverpool and City were acceptable. But, hindsight says Ole should have gotten more time to fix the issues. He deserved that time. United board and fans both thought things couldn’t get any worse after Ole. Time has proven that those people were absolutely wrong.

@Amz_1921 @FPLfrasier Each to their own. I think Ole is more likely to improve style of play, performances and results than any other interim manager. And I don’t want another permanent manager hastily brought in mid-season to use up limited goodwill like what happened to Amorin.

@nate_fpl @FPLfrasier Things have consistently went downhill after Fergie. It doesnt mean that we will beg SAF to come back. Jose had a more successful stint than Ole, why not bring him back? Stop fucking living in the last. Ole failed, the others after him also failed. Both can be true.
