For Rutherford Co proper, id be surprised if the area exceeded 1-3" of snow and about a half inch of ice/sleet. Some areas more....some less. Either way, travel is *highly* discouraged. Thats from @THPNashville, not me.

@lukeburgis My Dad had to come get me from jail when I was 17, cop let my friend drive home and he just left my car in the driveway and ran home without saying anything to my dad. When he picked me up he wasn't mad, didn't ask questions, just said "we're going to figure this out"

When I was 14 and starting high school, my dad told me that no matter what stupid shit I did, if I ever called him at 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning, in a bind, and needed him to come pick me up, that i shouldn't hesitate to call—because, he promised me, we wouldn't talk about it that night. We would eventually talk about it and deal with it—maybe even the next day—but he wanted to remove all fear in me of calling and asking for help, in the moment. It was a "no questions asked, I just want you to get home safe" policy. I took him up on it one night, and he was true to his word. I've never forgotten it, and I've never forgotten what would have happened to me if I hadn't trusted in it. Sometimes, when I visit him in the Alzheimer's wing of the Veterans home, I look into his face and see that he trusts in my promise to him, too.

It's almost cartoonish, except that he's being for real.

Greatly appreciate Rep Warner and his support of public education despite the political pressure I’m sure he is receiving. In the quick interactions where our paths crossed, I found him to be unapologetically supportive of public education.

@smartereveryday Most car manufacturers make neither piece of software. The bluetooth standard is still screwed up.

The elephant in the room… If car manufacturers want us to trust their software for self driving cars, they must first get me to trust their software to pair my phone to a radio. I haven’t had this work well yet. How is this not solved yet? This is a reasonable expectation.
