Has anyone noticed a huge discrepancy between Language Paper marks for the writing section? We have a student who achieved 22+15 on P2 being awarded 10+8 on P1! 🫠😅 @Team_English1

Anyone else baffled by @eduqas Language marking? I have examiners on my team and we are all scratching our heads - especially with Paper 2 writing! Seems wildly out from Paper 1 in terms of voice/ SPaG not being credited?

@SW_Help Returning to normal - well your normal is delayed or cancelled or inadequate so I suppose that is true.

@southwesttrain1 thank you very much! Just closed the doors while people were still trying to get on the train. No guard in sight. Poor showing as always. Should have guessed. If it wasn't strikes it would be delays or this sort of crap.

@_CuriousTeacher @Team_English1 Look at Stuart Pryke and Amy Staniford's book - Ready to Teach! So good. Also I would recommend looking at LitDrive as there are lots of SOW on their which you might be able to draw inspiration from. I don't know what exam board you follow but we are trying to plan by themes!

Been asked to create an ‘A Christmas Carol’ SOW for Yr 10 (will be their first time reading it). Keen to do this well as SOW planning is something I’m new to but wondering if anyone has any successful MTP resources I can take inspiration from? @Team_English1 #EduTwitter #AQA
