The Israeli occupation army tortured the child Jawad Abu Nassar (one year and nine months old) east of the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza after arresting him. According to the medical report, he was harmed by having cigarettes extinguished on his leg, being stabbed, and having an iron nail inserted into it, in order to pressure his father into making confessions. This occurred at a time when his father, Osama Abu Nassar, was suffering from psychological trauma after losing his source of livelihood when the horse he worked with died. He had been receiving therapy sessions in recent days. Two days earlier, he went out with his child to buy necessities, but found himself trapped under gunfire due to his home being close to the border east of Maghazi. A quadcopter drone forced him to leave his child on the ground and head toward a checkpoint, where he was stripped of his clothes. After that, soldiers took the child and began torturing him in front of his father, before releasing the child after about 10 hours of detention and torture, handing him over to his family through the Red Cross in the Maghazi market.
