@China__Focus Whatever your good intentions are, don't touch a girl's clothes! They should know it's rude, whatever their original intentions. BTW they didn't use "broken English" , the kid say he forgot how to say bag. Totally useless.

Acting like a giant mobile power bank, an all-electric tugboat discharged electricity from its battery at a rate of 80 kW, delivering a total of 560 kWh of electricity back to the power grid during a seven-hour experiment on Thursday in Lianyungang, east China's Jiangsu Province. It marked the country's first application of vessel-to-grid (V2G) bidirectional technology.

Who knew that Chinese songs translate so well into French that you can't even tell that it was Chinese? Because it sounds 100% like French chansons.

@Luke_J_A_P @Paul__Browning_ Hmm... I watched a BBC "country life" programme some time ago where a group of farmers go shooting rabbits then make bunny burgers at the village fair, during which some spit out shotgun pellets from those burgers.🤮

In 2001, Gordon Chang published “The Coming Collapse of China” and many other western “experts” shared their similar views China moved from a country competing on cheap labor to today’s innovation hub and top trading partners of >2/3 of the nations on this planet You may like or dislike China. But it is time to ask yourself if these experts, who formed the opinions of China for many in the West, serve the Western world well or help China to develop under the radar?

@morris_que14 Mandarin Chinese and French are legit two beautifully sounding language. Regional Chinese Dialect, like cantonese sounds like fart, but Mandarin Chinese sound like its perfect for songs and catchy melody

@parametricarch From first photo you could mistake it's in New York or some Western city, never would guess it's in a tier 2-3 city in one of the less developed part of China.

@DanCollins2011 Dan, don't argue with these commentators. Some haven't read your past posts, some just nationalist or propagandists from various camps, some simply have no brain, and then there those who are all of the above.

@parametricarch I like the exterior but am shocked by the interior. I hope they could just borrow a little bit more from the nearby building colors.

Set within a narrow alley of Heshun Ancient Town, ANNSO Hill is embedded into the hillside rather than rising above it. The project unfolds across an inverted L-shaped site, with its stepped roofscape climbing nearly 30 meters along the terrain.

@archpng Presumably they could restore all those other gates? I don't care if they all have to be installed in posh areas. BTW, FYI, Bejing has also got places named after "xx Gate", guess where those gates went and for what reason?

London once had a series of grand gateways marking entry into the City. Most of them disappeared by the end of the 18th century, including Aldgate, Aldersgate, Bishopsgate, Cripplegate, Ludgate, Moorgate and Newgate. Temple Bar is the surviving exception. Completed in 1672 and attributed to Sir Christopher Wren, it once stood where Fleet Street meets the Strand, marking the western entrance to the City of London. Removed in 1878 to ease traffic, the stone arch was later rebuilt at Theobalds Park in Hertfordshire before being returned to London in 2004. Today it stands near St Paul’s Cathedral as the entrance to Paternoster Square. oldu mu iyi
