After careful consideration, we just wanted to say that: We are doubling down 😤 New full stack dev onboarded, BTC treasury proposal being fine tuned for this week, stablecoin work w/ @USDMOfficial , @wavedigital_ and @nbxcom expanding and coming back, and auto liquidation plus compounding near completion.

Tokenized deposits pay banks yield. But every wallet gets whitelisted and every transaction runs full KYC. That kills liquidity. Stablecoins only freeze sanctioned wallets. We're focussing on Cardano native stables exclusively, as the longer-term aim here is to stimulate usage and liquidity. That's the right posture for Intersect to take IMO in our role within Cardano. And yeah we have strong relationships with NBX, USDM, USDA, Bitgo, Kraken and others coming. We've used NBX multiple times in the past, and agree they are a great partner.

Got it. So that was the part I was missing. Hedging into USDM/USDCx I'm guessing since those are Cardano native assets, you want to use them as default stables. Is it possible for Intersect to have an account on Kraken or Coinbase to have stables with more liquidity (USDT, USDC)? Cause large volume trades with above two will always cause high slippage (due to lack of liquidity). If you do OTC off ramps. @nbxcom might be a solution for $USDM - as they already have the rails built for Cardano native tokens.

This is not such a well-kept secret, but worth shouting about a little. For all future successful withdrawals Intersect will be offering a clear and easy path for proposers under our administration to convert their ada to a Cardano native stable. Intersect will support vendors through our relationships with key exchanges and our native stablecoin issuers if requested and as soon as a withdrawal is approved. Working through this is complex. It's far from an easy service to offer and has a myriad of cost implications, but Intersect is in a unique position to make inroads here, and we'd being doing the ecosystem a disservice not to build this out. Stimulating our stablecoins and to make it easier for vendors to plan and budget against, is a must-solve area. What Intersect is building out now is the step from Treasury to funded contract - with vendors being able to drawdown their stablecoin of choice once they hit their milestones. A lot of the upfront headache will be addressed, but @InASingleWord and @blinklabs_io documented their experience and challenges really well, and raises important factors to consider as a recipient of treasury funds and once a vendor has stables in their custody.
