Empowering Youth Through Operation SADBHAVANA 🇮🇳 From 06 to 18 Jul 2026, the Indian Army organised a Vocational Skill Development Programme under Operation SADBHAVANA at the Youth Employment & Guidance Node (YEGN), Kumbathang, for youth from Kumbathang and adjoining villages to enhance employability and promote self-reliance. A total of 25 local youth successfully completed institutional training in vocational trades such as plumbing, electrical work and carpentry. Bringing Light to the Remotest Corners of Ladakh Under #OperationSadbhavana, Fire and Fury Corps distributed 325 Home Solar Light Kits and 66 Solar Street Lights were installed for residents of the remote Trans Singela Region in Ladakh, bringing sustainable energy solutions to far flung communities. The project was undertaken on request of Shri Chering Dorjay Lakrook, President of the Ladakh Buddhist Association (LBA) and was attended by GOC Fire and Fury Corps. Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha today visited Government Medical College, Udhampur to inquire about the health and well-being of those who sustained injuries during the unfortunate road accident in Ramnagar, Udhampur on April 20. The Lieutenant Governor was briefed by a team of senior doctors on the health condition of the injured undergoing treatment at the hospital. He directed the Hospital Administration to ensure the best possible medical care for their early recovery.
