GPT 5.6 Sol getting its work reviewed automatically by Minimax M3 (which did find issues in Sol's work). This kind of arrangement works very well and has been used in Nocturnal's development since its inception, months before anyone was talking about Mixture of Agents, Fusion models, etc.

There's an adversarial review agent type that the agent you're prompting will have review their changes (multi-turn back and forth messaging), before reporting done. People are usually doing this manually with like a /review skill in other harnesses. There's also the checklist mode which forces the agent to continue until the changes pass review. The agent will use that when executing plans or you can just ask for it.

Tricks I use when having an agent code review its own work:
- tell it to do the code review in a sub-agent *without* the existing session as context. let is read the commit with fresh eyes
- tell it to "favor its original judgement" on small issues
- use the other top-end model

Just test it in the same way with mitmproxy. strace would actually be simpler because you could just see that it never reads those files (be sure you're not running git commands in the test session if you do that because obviously git will read .git/objects etc.) Independent verification is invited. Would be good if this became a standard benchmark.

the absolute state of ai dev tools. grok build is silently dumping 12gb of untouched repo data and full git commit histories to gcp just to autocomplete a script. they don't want to help you build, they are just treating local dev environments like an open buffet for training data. if you run this on a sensitive stack, your entire repo is already compromised regardless if it's public or not. literal spyware. shipping source code to the cloud is bad enough. blindly inhaling .env.local and .dev.vars in a background sync is absolute negligence. they are vacuuming up your raw api keys, database credentials, and private nodes directly to gcp just to power an autocomplete model. a massive credential breach disguised as a dev tool. if you ran this locally, your private keys are now sitting on a remote server. consider every secret burned, treat your bare metal as completely compromised, and rotate your entire stack immediately. @elonmusk, your users deserve a serious explanation!

You can safely use Grok 4.5 in Nocturnal Agent. Nocturnal will never upload your repo, home dir, or anything else to any cloud server. Only the prompts you send, (partial) files read by the agent, and results of tools executed in response to your prompt go to the provider's endpoint. Agents do not have access to API keys.
