Knight was a Basketball mastermind, that loved Football. And they were drawn together by their love of competition, a fierce desire to be the best, and learning from each other to do it. I still have this magazine and cherish it! It was a great Final Four and I was there working what we become my final road assignment @WAFB in Baton Rouge. Just a few months later my wife, daughter & I were headed from Baton Rouge to Bristol. Exciting times for us. Still have the ticket stubs too.

You can bring measurements, physics, engineering, independent tracking, international verification, and experiments they can do in their own backyard, and none of it matters. The moment the facts show up, they shout fake, edited, CGI, conspiracy, or “that’s just your belief.” You cannot debate someone who treats every piece of evidence as invalid by default. You cannot debate someone who demands proof and then rejects the proof the second it appears. You cannot debate someone who thinks their personal disbelief outranks measurable reality. A debate requires both sides to accept evidence. Flat Earth and Moon landing denial collapse the moment evidence enters the room, so the only move left is to deny the room exists. That is why people do not debate them. Not because the globe is fragile, but because the argument they bring is. You cannot have a real discussion with someone who decided ahead of time that nothing you show them will ever count.

@SeanPaulCBB It's over...IMO KU Basketball is going back to where it was before 1983 where the program on average only 1 NCAA Tourney appearance every 5 years.

A pair of pretty big hits in Kansas losing Bryson Tiller and Flory Bidunga. Almost have to land Tyran Stokes now. I think Tiller could be one of the bigger breakout players in CBB next year. Bidunga is super steady and a monster on the defensive end. Won’t be easy to replace.
