@OwenPGCE @AdamHighcliffe It depends entirely on your motivations though, surely? I aspire to be SLT (Currently 4 years into secondary Maths). My motivation is to improve whole school culture and benefit as many of my school community as possible. That can’t always be done from a classroom.

Teachers. If you're following the Mossbourne scandal, and you're wondering if the tiny fringe of people attacking the report are on your side, consider this. Much of the evidence came from teachers. This included their own testimonies about a "toxic" leadership. So... 1/2

He even refused to support teachers. A good part of the review is taken up with teacher testimony - in fact many of the Educating Hackney comments were from teachers. The failure by Old, Bennett & others to even stand up for teachers is notable. ⬇️
