My family never believed in me. My parents said my career as a salesman would never work out. They wanted me to take a safer path, like being an attorney or nurse. But I knew my true calling in life. They told me those cold plunges I took at 4am were 'stupid' and a 'safety hazard'. They begged me to not spend $7,000 on a weekend sales training seminar. But guess what? That seminar changed my life, and put me on a path to making well over $109,550 per year (which I mostly reinvest back into training seminars) I hadn't spoken to my parents in years. Until recently. Last week, I heard my dad needed money to afford a critical surgery. I checked my bank account balance, and smiled at the massive balance that my parents said I'd never achieve. I printed out the bank statement and scrawled a message across the top. "Bet you don't think my sales career is 'silly' now. Good luck with that surgery. LOL." I mailed it off to my dad and went right back to making cold calls. It feels great to prove the haters wrong.

I once read an interview where @tobi recommended everyone (including his own kids) play a game called Factorio to learn about automation and leverage. I've since played for many hours and it's completely changed the way I operate. We now let any team member expense the game.

How to retain what you learn:

The only two things I care about when interviewing: 1. Do they deliver results? 2. Do they do so while lifting up those around them?

How to create a "community": Create a space where your followers can EASILY congregate w/ e/other If your audience is all on FB, don't force them to Discord. Build the community where they already are regularly spending their time and then once loyalty is there > migrate them.
