A year ago, when we started @southpkcommons India, we were also at '-1.' One guy (me), sitting at a desk (in an office that wasn't ours). Now our community has 70+ members, portfolio is growing, and we’re synonymous with open exploration for the best in the ecosystem! As a runner, this feels like a long sprint. It feels like we put in enormous effort, to get through every kilometer. But it also feels so good to see, how far we have come in just a year. I'm excited about the talent-density we have here, and that a bunch of these explorations will result in the creation of generational companies from India! One question that I do keep getting all the time is — "What do people do at SPC? Why do people want to be here? What does it actually feel like to be part of this community?" Adding to the false and absurd sangh narrative of 'Muslims will take over the country', the latest issue of India Today has tried to put fuel to fire. 99% Muslim vote has always been anti sangh for years, even if fragmented. But India Today has tried to whip up the sentiment with AI generated images on the cover that stereotypes the community and almost cautions the andhbhakts.
