@Resident_Cynic I’m sorry you’re experiencing that. It’s a growing problem in the profession I’m afraid. Whilst I don’t know the company, it may contribute to why people can recruit from them.

I've spoken with my head of HR to raise the activism abroad in the business, part of that was mentioning your podcast as something he should listen to, and he mentioned he knows Neil as he previously nicked a good chunk of our staff! If you're wondering how well it went... I've since been ghosted despite presenting him anonymous statements from employees to say they're frightened to raise their concerns (*and it's because you're bullying and coercing them). 'Why will they message me after I posted about these issues publicly, but they won't tell you?" To which he said that's 'extremely concerning' and made commitments to my face to address. Clearly not that concerning To rub salt in, I did my mandatory DEI training the other week and the bullying slide literally states being frightened as an example.

@neilmorrison @LNRailway It is horrendous. I got there after giving a training session for clients just as the trains were all cancelled around 2:15pm. I had to get an uber back to Manchester. I’m very lucky that I could do that. I feel for those who couldn’t - there was no one to help or give info

@LNRailway Yeah…so that will now be 7.05pm the next predicted train. So a 5 hour delay and no alternative transport put in place. Simply unacceptable.

@LNRailway There’s not been a single train south from Birmingham to Northampton (I’m in Coventry) since before 2pm. I get things happen, but the lack of replacement buses is just poor customer management. If (and that’s a big if) the 5.35pm runs on time that will be a 3.5hr delay.

Whilst I’m always proud of the work we do, there couldn’t be a more important time to spread the word.

@HungLee The vast majority of minimum wage jobs are are location based. Conflating cost of living and remote working is a red herring. Most people on zero hours contracts, minimum wage aren’t thinking about their morning coffee in Pret.

Cost of Living crisis promotes Remote working. It's far more expensive to commute in to the office - travel costs, coffee in the morning, lunch at midday, pint after work, not to mention need for better clothes, shoes, dressage etc. Add in extra child care needs... Back of a fag packet calculation - in London £100 per day extra spend minimum. What do you reckon?

Hi @tamsinmorgan @jesic_j I'd love to know what @stwater considers as an emergency? We have no working toilet, two children under 5 and apparently that's doesn't qualify? We've been offered a non-emergency appointment on Oct 10th. An appointment that in all likelihood will lead to ST making another non emergency referral to a different team within ST and us still not having a working toilet. We can't just throw our sewage into a river, we're not a water company
