We are 6 weeks out from 250 years and I’ve seen virtually nothing celebrating the country. No flags. No edits. Nothing. Brands and films are doing more to celebrate their anniversaries than Americans are to celebrate their country. This country is now filled with hostile foreigners and liberals that hate everything about it and want it remade in their horrid image. Celebrating America’s history would do too much to shatter the narrative that “it was never great.” We had a wonderful country once. I still remember it.

Only 14 percent of ALL workers in the trades make over 100k a year. The average is closer to 50k a year. Do not let conservatives lie to you. Go to college. Get an education. Do not break your body down for 25 dollars an hour.

@herosnvrdie69 That's cool, I was a recruiter for an industrial Refrigeration company. I hired welder trainees. We started them at 25 an hour to train. I don't buy your numbers. I know kids who are 21 and 22 years old who do work 45 to 50 hours a week and are making over 100k in rural virginia.

@nerodidntfiddle @UNSAINT3D Yes, but your labor is guaranteed and paid fairly and your housing is free. Not only that, but under capitalism most of the money you produce goes to your boss and his boss etc. Under Communism most if the money you produce goes to you.

@seethroughit2 I'm not a boomer but kids these days are allergic to work and the work they do decide to show up to is substandard at best. They take more pride in their sexuality than they do their work. No wonder even Trump gave up on them and let the hard working immigrants stay.

Since I'm so disgusted by what I'm seeing from the Boomers on here, I had to jump back in - Wages are at a Record Low Share of GDP - The money you earn as wages is a complete shit store of value, which pushes people into the financial markets or debt just to stay even - You've made every aspect of life a ticker on the stock market - Employees aren't "members of the nation" anymore; they're line items to eliminate for EPS growth and happy "stock market gamblers" - Financialization turned all companies from producers serving communities/nations into vehicles for stock gambling - Profits get redirected to buybacks/dividends instead of raises or training - Homes are no longer primarily places to live and build equity for your family - they’re leveraged investment vehicles for boomer retirees and institutional investors The American Dream should be a stable job, a wife, kids, a home you own, and the ability to build a real life without needing to gamble in the stock market casino just to survive You didn’t need dual incomes + side hustles + stock trading apps just to break even you parasitic boomer scum

There was a poll early last year which showed that the number of zoomers who would favor annexation doubled if they could convert their (meagre) assets to USD on a 1:1 basis. When you turn your country into an anonymous values-based economic zone, there's no basis for patriotism, and the youth become indifferent to your propaganda.
National Post@nationalpost

Poll reveals Gen Z Canadians are not boycotting U.S. travel. 61 per cent of Gen Z have the U.S. on their vacation itinerary this year, compared to just 14 per cent of Boomers nationalpost.com/news/canada/ge…

There's a real sense in which a man who has a "job" is getting dommed by another person 8 hours a day which is not good in the woman mind. The relative status and financial stability of the w-2 tribe no longer what it was, so the tradeoff is less compelling. Women are more "employable" than men now anyway.
Román@Zmei_Hhsss

@CSandbatch 100% accurate. girls like the unemployed (rich or poor) and the underemployed (rich or poor)

I'm certainly no Bear Grylls, but it's just astounding sometimes where I see the lack of basic "manly" skills in young men, and it's endemic in urban areas. Like they don't know how to change a tire, change the oil in their car, and they think food comes from the supermarket. To keep it on my obsessive level though - I'm just astounded when they speak out in support of gun control. Gun control is a stark oppositional concept to what a man should be doing. Gun control means you are letting another man (or a woman) decide whether you meet some sort of criteria to possess a tool with which you can defend yourself and your family with. Supporting gun control also means you are basically assigning the defense of yourself and your family to (wait for it...) another man with a gun.

Just heard from the instructor at this maritime school hes got a student who's a deckhand with AB limited, AB-Deck and Tankerman making $750/day. This requires 360 days of documented sea service and about 4 weeks of classes costing $4000. With a normal 50% on, 50% off schedule it takes 2 years to accumulate that sea service (which youre getting paid for, of course) So that guy is now making 135k/year before taxes with half the year free, and you could be there before the age of 20. Maritime jobs are everywhere and wages are still rising, very good time to get into the industry in the US

@indexnforgetit @shagbark_hick @RedbullRacist Average people, 200 years ago, were eating diets of bread/potatoes, local meat/fish, and local vegetables/fruits. Obviously, it varies by region, but this meal would be considered poverty-level, even back then.

That's a term the "doomer" guys throw at me quite a lot, but none of them have explained what I am a "slave" to. I have no mortgage, no car payment, no debt, no boss, no schedule, and a clientele that almost doesn't care what I produce or how often I produce it. I have a distinctly permissive wife, family and friends who are extremely tolerant of my activities, and a pile of savings in excess of several years of my monthly expenses. Seems just about antithetical to what a "slave" is. But I guess a cheap cheeseburger really seals the deal on slavery.
