No one believes me when I say this, but the decline in reading is already having dire consequences for art & culture. The media you loved in your youth—shows, albums, films—was made by artists who were widely read. You will not have that quality of art in a post-literate world.

We saw people talk about trying to get Aubry out multiple times all season long and we never saw people plotting to get Jonathan. Because he wasn’t a threat. He didn’t need to “work” to get there because almost everyone would’ve sat next to him and won.

Aubry won by being there at the end. Which to her credit isn't easy to do, but still, Jonathan worked to be there in the end. I don't even think it was close. Aubry got a lifetime achievement award. Is what it is. Happens on Survivor.

NYU admin compelled graduating NYU Law students to remove kuffiyehs — traditional scarves that are worn by Palestinians and that show support for Palestinians.
This is an appalling instance of anti-Palestinian racism. It's also a clear violation of those students' civil rights.
