
Europe believes it will always be able to see when its institutions are completely captured by islamists. Sudan believed the same thing. The Financial Times today on Sudan's military: "There is no national army. It is still a political army." Brotherhood officers. IRGC training. Iranian drones. Once they are in the institutions they simply cannot be removed. There were warning signs, they weren't heeded. Europe and particularly Britain should take heed of this cautionary tale.
