Professor Saeed Moshfeghyeganeh arrived in the U.S. from Iran between 2009-2010, after President Obama took over. He teaches a course called, 'Instruction for Physics.'
He appears on campus wearing a keffiyeh, and has been giving speeches through a bullhorn condemning the U.S., the Trump administration, and Israel.
His LinkedIn bio expresses grief over Iranian regime scientists killed in operations attributed to Mossad: "I just saw the news of the assassination of another Iranian scientist by Israel. Killing scientists is a coward action against international laws and and war crime that must be stopped!"
Last month, the university instructed him to remove a sign posted on his office door that invited illegals to seek shelter from ICE enforcement.
He's taken over the campus quad and hosts Islamic prayers.
I have no concrete evidence this professor has U.S. citizenship. Why are we allowing an Iranian regime tentacle near our students?

🇮🇷🇺🇸 The last few hours have been a stretch of increasingly awkward reality checks as the Iran situation keeps grinding forward: Trump tried to reboot talks by sending Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Pakistan, signaling that negotiations are supposedly back on. Iran’s response: they’re not even planning to meet them. So you now have a situation where one side is flying negotiators into the room, and the other side is very publicly not showing up. Trump, meanwhile, is still talking like a deal is possible, even hinting Iran might make an offer, while also keeping military pressure maxed out. So the messaging is basically: “we’re close to peace” and “we’re ready to escalate” at the same time. Oil markets are reacting exactly how you’d expect to that kind of coherence, bouncing between relief and panic depending on which headline hits first. At sea, the standoff continues, with U.S. forces enforcing pressure and Iran continuing disruption tactics, meaning the economic chokehold part of the war is still fully active. Zoom out and the pattern is getting clearer: attempts at diplomacy that don’t quite connect, military pressure that never really pauses, and both sides talking past each other while insisting progress is happening. The "shadow fleet" isn't beating the blockade. Just exploiting the math.
Over 26 Iran-linked vessels have slipped through since April 13 using AIS spoofing, mid-sea flag swaps, and ship-to-ship transfers designed to make tracking nearly impossible.
The U.S. is expanding boarding and seizure rights globally. But enforcing them across a vast maritime zone that Iran partially controls, against hundreds of older tankers running dark, is a different problem entirely.
Washington isn't looking the other way but running into the hard ceiling of what maritime enforcement can realistically do against a fleet built specifically to be ungovernable.
Iran spent years building this shadow network for exactly this scenario. All of it was engineered to outlast pressure campaigns.
The blockade remains. The pressure remains. But anyone calling this a concession is misreading what enforcement limits actually look like.
