@newanon11 @thewriterme Work with me here- common denominator-there was something painful going on. Chronic or post op. So you were given the anti inflammatory (rimadyl) and the gabapentin for the dogs comfort

A very hot topic. Something worth paying close attention to. Gabapentin was the fill in drug for opioids. Opioids have their own set of issues- but I think everyone can agree medical care is broken.

This mother was upset with her kid for leaving his clothes out on the stairs. She said she asked him to take his dirty clothes and put it in the washer machine and to do a load of laundry. She said he got mad and said no and started blaming her. She told him that he needs to come talk to her when he’s calm and not upset and they will discuss it. She said she is leaving his clothes right where they are. Me, personally, uhm- I would handle that in a completely different manner. What about you? Is this how you would handle your children leaving clothes out like that? Would you handle them the way she did if they back-talked you, got mad at you, was upset and blamed you?

@newanon11 @QueenAnticommie Agreed, but I think it’s beyond the point for mommy and daddy (if there is one) stepping in. They probably should have done that 5 years ago.

Sometimes when I'm going to sleep at night, I like to focus really hard and think about what my life used to be like as an alcoholic. I think it's really important not just to visualize what you want in the future, but also to remember where you've come from in the past. That photo is my table that I used to work at every night. I say "work," but Id just have two bottles of wine, four Valiums, and smoke 40 cigarettes while watching YouTube videos and often crying to myself. I was utterly miserable, suffering from depression, anxiety, and just chasing the next drink. People often think being an alcoholic is glamorous and partying and living the high life, but in reality, this is a scene that many people will know very well. The reason I like to remember those days is because I appreciate what I have now. My life is surrounded by dogs, and while the days might be really tough and long and challenging, nothing will ever be as lonely or as sad or as challenging as those days alone at the desk. I share this post not looking for comments or praise for being sober, but rather to show people out there who are currently suffering themselves. I know there's thousands of people who are having a sneaky glass of wine or even a bottle. I know there are people with Valium and Xanax in their pocket, popping one on a constant basis for anxiety. Every home, every workplace, every friend group, every sports team is packed full of people suffering from all sorts of things that we would never even know. You might not get better today, or tomorrow, or even this year. It took me 25 years and probably a thousand attempts to get over my own battles. To be honest, I still struggle with anxiety and depression at times today. But please don't give up. Please remember that you're not alone, and please keep fighting for your own future because better days are out there. If you are unlucky enough to have somebody who suffers in your friend group or family, stick with them, encourage them. I know it's tough, but one day they'll get there. Big love to you all. Happy just to be alive here ❤️

he is healing. everytime he talks about how he feels, it is healing him. he has forever been the guy who makes everyone laugh and he just said that he wants a new story. he is living his new story. every single time that he lays it all out in the open, for us all to see. he gets closer to the guy he needs to be. he is not weak for doing so. i have read some vile comments. he has lived his life being witnessed by everyone. you dont seem to mind when he talks about shit that you find funny, yet you want to fault him when his conversation isnt for your entertainment? having your life out there, under scrutiny, is something 99% of us will never know, and could never handle he woke up. he grew up. it sucks when you realize most everything you thought you knew, turns out to be bullshit. but he now has the ability to spot those who are clueless. its a big responsibility.

Hey @TheoVon come visit Idaho for a week. Drink Raw milk from a cow you can feed an apple to. Drink water right from the earth, watch kids make up games and play them for hours barefoot. You can heal dude. Break the cycle. It ripples forward and backward in time. The biggest demonic whisper that’s 100% false but so many people believe is “it’s too late for me. There’s no way back.” Despair and hopeless are false. They’re tricks. The worse lies are the simplest. “You are not enough” is the primary lie. The corner stone for the next and the next and the next. Offer is on the table. If not go do another healing thing. Just a week, no need to quit your life or make a drastic change. Just take a week and get very very simple. Nothing elaborate. No trips to some jungle with a dj that promises you’ll meet god if you eat some leaf. Dude go back to the beginning. Simple. Local. It’s always been there. Much love

He needs someone to be honest with him. If this is real, and I have no reason to believe it’s not, I hope he finds what he’s looking for

This ma ordered a new fridge for $1000 from Lowe’s. When it was delivered, the delivery men accidentally dented the right stainless steel panel on the door. The fridge still works great, but there are three unsightly dents. He reached out to Lowe’s and they took $500 off of the total price, so he ended up getting it for only $500. Would you have taken that deal and saved $500 or would you have taken the fridge back and had the give you a new one that was not damaged?

Armchair psychologists, what is Theo supposed to do here? He's clearly hurting and broken. He's been consistently depressed for so long, his emotional state is tied to the opinions of others, he changes his beliefs every other day, how does this guy heal?
