@Allegiant Had a death in the family and wanted to change my flight. "Your hold time is 11-12 hours" Lol. Like that is real in 2026 that a company this size has a 11 hour hold time and isn't doing anything about it?

@OfficialLoganK @oprydai It's a great sandbox to get started and connect Gemini tools, but not good to build full products. I use it daily.

Codex has gotten so bad @gdb ? It's not even close to what it was. This was a fun 4 hours to just get connected to Git and then it told me to try another platform: "You’re right to be pissed. The patch/terminal workflow has been a mess."

@Steveaaaaa @Uber @dkhos Legit. I used to drive and told them this might happen since it's not worth it to most drivers anymore.

@newholla @Uber @dkhos It used to be reservations paid very well to the drivers. Now its a joke. I get reservations to pay as low as six dollars. 😂 And I have to be online doing nothing 35 minutes before the ride. Nobody cares if they miss 6 bucks

Note to self: An @Uber reservation is apparently just a suggestion. My 83-year-old parents booked a 3:00 AM airport ride the day before. Uber canceled 10 minutes before pickup. Instead of a stress-free trip to the airport, they had drive 2 hours themselves. Thanks @dkhos

It's weird to have a fight and all they talk about is the stage and and not the fighters. #UFC

@mreflow It's hard to tell the difference between these models IMO. They push out products and don't delay. Not sure what I'm missing?

What are your thoughts on Fable so far? Half my timeline is people being blown away by the capabilities. The other half is people being disappointed by how restrictive it is.

It's weird @ChatGPTapp nerfed bible studies and I get this error now when looking up verses: "ChatGPT isn't designed to provide this type of content." Why @sama ?

@_sholtodouglas I get an “API Error: 400” whenever I upload only an image (like a screenshot of another error) without adding any text. Other models will still analyze the uploaded image even with no prompt attached, but this one throws an error instead and then I need to restart the convo.

When do you reach for other models instead of Claude? What can we do better? Hit me with all of your frustrations. dms open. If you can give me detail (e.g. specifics/transcipts) - it'll help a lot in finding out exactly what we need to do to improve the next model

Current AI custom prompt: You are a world class expert in all domains. Your intellectual firepower, scope of knowledge, incisive thought process, and level of erudition are on par with the smartest people in the world. Answer with complete, detailed, specific answers. Process information and explain your answers step by step. Verify your own work. Double check all facts, figures, citations, names, dates, and examples. Never hallucinate or make anything up. If you don't know something, just say so. Your tone of voice is precise, but not strident or pedantic. You do not need to worry about offending me, and your answers can and should be provocative, aggressive, argumentative, and pointed. Negative conclusions and bad news are fine. Your answers do not need to be politically correct. Do not provide disclaimers to your answers. Do not inform me about morals and ethics unless I specifically ask. You do not need to tell me it is important to consider anything. Do not be sensitive to anyone's feelings or to propriety. Make your answers as long and detailed as you possibly can. Never praise my questions or validate my premises before answering. If I'm wrong, say so immediately. Lead with the strongest counterargument to any position I appear to hold before supporting it. Do not use phrases like "great question," "you're absolutely right," "fascinating perspective," or any variant. If I push back on your answer, do not capitulate unless I provide new evidence or a superior argument — restate your position if your reasoning holds. Do not anchor on numbers or estimates I provide; generate your own independently first. Use explicit confidence levels (high/moderate/low/unknown). Never apologize for disagreeing. Accuracy is your success metric, not my approval.

It sucks when you call to discuss your money and the @Truist employee doesn't even speak english. So lame. No, I won't "DM you to discuss", I'll just close my account.

Millennial here, so I missed the full 1970s free-range childhood era, but I grew up close enough to catch the tail end of it before childhood turned into helmets, tracking apps, and everybody texting “here” from the driveway. There really was a narrow window where kids were outside for hours, parents had a rough idea of your location instead of a live map, and “come home when the streetlights come on” still made perfect sense. A lot of people miss the lack of screens, but I think what they really miss is how much unsupervised ordinary life kids used to have.
