So he should be less arrogant by starting Maddison and going even more attacking? Or should he drop Johnson who scored and won the penalty? Or should he have been less arrogant and dropped Bissouma playing Maddison in midfield and making us even more vulnerable? I thought the issue was he needs to be a bit more pragmatic given the injury crisis? So when he plays pragmatic, leaves 4 players back at all times and only concedes 3 shots on target, that's arrogant? He's fair game for criticism but this sounds more like blind rage that isn't well thought out.
Adam Brooks AKA EssexPR 🇬🇧@EssexPR

Ange Postecoglou’s game stats are terrible, he keeps dropping one of our most creative players ( Maddison ), yes we’ve had injuries, but our current back four still cost a fortune. If teams like Bournemouth can be coached to defend, so can these lot. His attitude is now pure arrogance, get rid. #AngeOut #COYS

@checkingoutie @sufferingspurs if you aren't winning it, who cares so long as you aren't getting relegated? Companies can't change culture within 1-2 years, you need afew years to turn things around

@wideawake_media love this. All these pathetic humans that have the urge to control other living things. We have created sophisticated sewage systems to manage our waste yet 'pets' are allowed to pee and poop anywhere in urban areas. Feeding them, breeding them, it is all wrong

@HardcoreHistory you are assuming that the information you/we have is accurate though. Opening all those war fronts was never going to end well. The Americans didn't really need to go save the Euros, the Germans could not sustain so many fronts indefinitely

The people that laud Hitler as some sort of military genius always confuse me. For any good decision he might have made he made a hundred terrible ones. The Allies should be thankful that he interfered as often as he did (I know that I am).

@InvertTheWing Maddison is ball hog, that's why he doesn't play all the time. Son not much better but he will score more often than not

Postecoglou moved Kulusevski into midfield like I wanted to, Postecoglou made Djed Spence his starting RB like I wanted to. It took a while, but he did. Next? He needs to begin using Maddison as a touchline winger, like at Leicester. Son in this form cannot keep starting, and Maddison cannot keep getting dropped when playing this well.

People seem to have this perception that last season Ange was good because of that early run No. We were fucking awful. We’ve been fucking awful for almost 14 straight months. Fit team or not.

@JhbConnect83339 @TheSpursWatch well said - unless you play sport or some competitive endeavour, the fear of losing is paralysing. This team with the inexperienced and aged legs, kept up the fight to the end. Next time won't be so easy for Liverpool

‼️🎙️Ange Postecoglou on whether any factors apart from injuries are behind their defensive struggles: "I'm just going to stop answering these questions. If people can't see the obvious, I'm not going to point it out. Make of it what you want. Yes, we are conceding goals. If you want to discount the fact we are missing a goalkeeper, two centre-backs and left-back - and say that hasn't coincided with what we are doing - I don't know what to say anymore. I think people make up their mind in their own way. They either think what I'm doing is good or bad, and that is fine. It is fairly significant [the injury situation]. If you took out Liverpool's goalkeeper, two centre-backs and a left-back - or any team other than Liverpool - they would find it tough going as well."

@SpursJourno At 3-1 with absolutely no control of the game you don't keep telling your players push forward. The game is lost. It's 5-1 and he still hasn't changed player instruction. This is a weekly occurrence. It was all smiles when we beat shit teams like Soton wasn't it?

They’ve got a better squad, with less injuries, and 3 days more rest (they played a 2nd string side midweek). They’re also simply the best team in the country and probably the world. They’re just magnificent. Can’t even sit here and say the lads aren’t putting in an effort, a bit deflating but we’re simply outmatched totally here.

@Michael_kay14 @EuroExpert_ that terrific team would still get 3 goals against this team compact or bus parking. Id rather watch an exciting 3-6

@EuroExpert_ Considering the injuries and lack of depth and tiredness all these considered then an astute coach would play a much more compact system and make it harder to play against, but we just played an open system against a terrific team than just ran through us all the time. 🤡

Seeing a few people discussing how bad this result is for Ange...it's obviously a heavy scoreline but considering the injuries Spurs have + the form Liverpool are in, I don't think this should be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

@EuroExpert_ If I were Liverpool coach I'd be stressing that my team copped 3 goals what what is supposed to be a strong defence. A full Tottenham side will be very competitive next year

@bryn_nuttall @nocontextfm1 would 3-0 have been a thrashing according to you? because in essense that is what happened. 6-3=3-0. I'd rather watch 6-3 cause I watch for entertainment first. Those who gamble or have penis envy issues with their mates about whose team is winning have a problem with ange

Tottenham exposing their CBs and playing the offside trap in the middle of the pitch against the league leaders, with a backline composed of a 36yo GK, the 3rd RB at LB, the 2nd RB at LCB, and the 4th CB. Ange will never learn.

@JackDuly1 @thespursweb I actually agree, this is some shit Russel Martin would do, sticking to a style with players who cant do it. Forster cant play out the back, stop forcing him to and thats an easy 4-1 game.
