Saudi Arabia has finalized plans to build a $10 billion oil refinery in Gwadar.
Aramco is set to partner with Pakistan’s PSO, OGDCL, PPL, and GHPL.
The refinery will have a capacity of 300,000 barrels per day, helping to lower Pakistan’s spending on oil imports.

Gawadar can be a great location for military perspective but commercially its located in no man’s land, even if Pakistan builds mini Dubai there nearest major population centre would be 100s kms away making it white elephant.

You know, ksa is pushing refinery in Pakistan for 2 reasons.
1. If sanctions on 🇮🇷 are revoked, saudi oil remain competitive.
2. If the war turn to ling war, still 🇮🇷 will allow pakistani flagged crude ships to pass via some arrangement. This was 🇸🇦 can earn via reselling crude fron Pakistani refinary. Refinary operations need serious hedging and geographic distribution after this war.
3. Iran might also push for its pupeline and refinery in Pakistan aswell as a stop gap and disaster aversion strategy.

Thought I'd remind y'all that this logo was proposed to Pakistan Football Federation by @InsideFtblPK but it was ultimately rejected.
Hopefully we see a change in the current logo soon, I know we have many more issues to tackle but this is definitely one of them. 🇵🇰
