@RonCab13 @TonyLaneNV @RogerBernards I was a waiter and a bartender while attending university and our rule or guideline was 15% for good service of food in a restaurant or 10% for good service in a bar. If the service was lacking in some way we’d expect to deduct from that. I still follow this.

@ShaneWenzel You want to help with affordability - mandate the 30yr fixed rate mtg (with cmhc coverage) and allow mtg int to be fully tax deductible. It provides for stability if people want it and the deduction is more meaningful to the buyer in the early yrs.

The idea that housing prices simply need to come down to fix affordability misses the bigger picture. If you actually want homes people can afford, you have to look at the full cost stack, not just the final price. What about lowering personal taxes so families can qualify for homes in the first place? What about rethinking Net Zero mandates that add significant upfront cost without improving affordability? What about shrinking the layers of government that slow everything down? What about cutting red tape that delays projects and drives up prices? And yes, what about every level of government taking a hard look at the fees they add to each home? You cannot regulate your way to affordability while adding cost at every step. If we are serious about solving this, we need to stop pretending price is the problem and start fixing what is driving it.

@HillValleyForum Nonsense. It works very well for a significant part of the workforce and benefits those that can’t by not clogging up roads for commutes. Lots of senior leaders are checking email during mtgs and still manage to perform.

Pick one of the first two, pick one of the second two, add in some type of supinated (underhand grip) row or pulldown, add in pullovers or a variation of pullovers, and if you want, deadlifts, unless you do them on a separate day. Also, very important! when doing any pull exercise, remember your hands are just hooks. They don't lift the weight, just hold it. Let the elbows driving back or driving down AND the lats do all the lifting, NOT the hands.

The only back exercises you need are. → Pull-ups → Wide-grip lat pulldown → Barbell row → Seated cable row What else should we add to the list?
