SpaceX didn't buy Cursor for $60B
SpaceX bought the OPTION to buy Cursor for $60B in the FUTURE.
This is why this is a genius move:
Let's say Cursor is worth $30B today (made up number). But xAI thinks that combined with the SpaceX/xAI/X/Colossus ecosystem, Cursor can be worth $100B.
SpaceX doesn't have to take the risk and dish out the money. They can test out their theory first and even if they succeed in making Cursor a $100B company, they only need to pay $60B to buy it outright.
If SpaceX is wrong about their theory, they can bail and basically pay a $10B "penalty" to have some version of cursor inside of Grok.

Me and @jogicodes decided that indie hacking isnt cutting anymore.
We have some debt now that we need to repay.
Theres only way we can fix this.
In the meanwhile, please download @jogicodes GetJacked app(in his bio) and Blitzcut on ios app stores to support us

What humans can create is truly incredible.
Have been travelling over the past 4 days and finally home. During my travels across 3 states, I flew on 4 planes, unfortunately not this mega Airbus A380, but was great to get this close to it during some routine maintenance.
It may be expensive to fuel the beast, but despite that, I love that we have the technology to travel far and wide on this planet, to see and spend time with loved ones.
Thank you for coming to my XTalk.
