I personally like having an emergency fund in fiat. I know it’s dumb or whatever else people think, but it gives me peace of mind. I didn’t have one for a long time and it stresses me out, especially in bear markets lol

Wild how split opinions are on AI coding. I love building now more than ever. I know @garrytan feels the same way. But some like @atmoio and @ThePrimeagen are hating this moment. What gives?

@nakadai_mon $20/month one, it was quite enough just a few weeks ago. Now both GPT 5.5 and Opus 4.7 are hitting limits for me after a few iteractions on code. Kimi K2.6 can go on forever but it breaks my code. I'll probably have to pay more to Anthropic, can't live without Opus!

Is there a way for your OpenClaw agent to "forget" all of it's bad habits & relearn how to do things based on new OpenClaw standards? It doesn't make sense that starting over is the only way to get your agent to stop doing weird Feb/March quirks. cc @steipete @cathrynlavery

@TheGuySwann Opus 4.6 was a big breakthrough, everything after that has been a disappointment for me.

Everyone is talking like the models are getting tons better with each release but honestly I just dont see it. I can switch back up to 2-3 model versions and its just not that different to me. The major difference seems to be tokens burned on having it "think" and verify itself and decide whether to do things. Which isn't about the model, its about the harness and system prompt, etc. The only big leaps ive seen are in *small* models that run locally. Those are beginning to feel like legit agents that are very useful, and new setups and better memory structures are allowing them to run for hours on end without break. This feels like the real unlock to me, not GPT 5.5 vs GPT 5.4. Anyone else feel this way?
