One rule everyone needs to adopt immediately: If it annoys you twice, fix it open.substack.com/pub/nicharry/p… Low agency people will think: "why should I fix it?". Did that cross your mind?

Hey @amasad @mattyp I've had a bug in the security scanner since Friday. Agent ran fixes, confirmed them but scan is using old data and picking up the same issues. Ran it by your support and they escalated it. Since then no response or resolution. cant publish. help! @nicharry

@amasad @jasonlk Yeah this feels like a good soln to test out. I'm not trying to get out of my bill, I LOVE paying Replit because it saves me long term on dev/design teams. But it's frustrating to be charged for things that I didn't break, you know?

Hey @amasad everytime replit agent refactors something and it breaks a previously working piece of functionality I should not be charged to fix it.

@nicharry I agree. It’s just extremely hard for us to figure out when that happens and when it’s purely the agent making mistakes vs unclear instructions. But we’re exploring.

I built an app that let's me post to X without opening X. This way I can avoid the doomscrolling for most of the day but still post. Took me maybe 90 minutes using @Replit.

"fake a British accent" is the '26 travel advice Americans didn't know they needed.

@cliffster Bullshit You should've entered an establishment, talked to random people, then they invent you to their home for food, or ask X to meet ppl Maybe fake a British accent if you're Ameri

Got invited to do a TEDx talk. Anyone worked with a fantastic speaking coach? Want to get a sense of the prep and time commitment necessary to do a 20/10 job.

@amasad I found the issue, one of my apps had autoscale deployment that was triggering usage regardless of traffic. Solving now, but feels like something that requires a usage warning before implementing via the agent.

@amasad since the recent agent update includes high power mode inherently my Replit cost has gone through the roof. I can't tell if my usage has changed or the nature of the work or the agent. It's a bit of an unclear black box per app how usage is calculated. Either I stop using Replit until next month or it would be great to understand why the cost has gone up.

@tobi @TheFP @magattew Coming from South Africa and having spent 20+ yrs building businesses there, you're right but it's never that simple in markets where the govt actively fights against entrepreneurs.

You’ve been lied to about Africa. @MagatteW: “Africa is not poor because of colonialism. Africa is poor because we have made it impossible for our people to create wealth.”
