Last night, another act of political violence shook the nation. At this point, no one should be surprised. “The President is a fascist.” “Eat the rich.” “Let the streets soak in capitalists’ blood.” “Globalize the intifada.” “By any means necessary.” This isn’t fringe rhetoric anymore. It’s been normalized, echoed on campaign trails, and amplified on podcasts where politicians regularly appear. You don’t get to indulge this language, elevate those who use it, and then act shocked when it turns into violence. We need to get back to sanity before we lose our country.

We're not saying that Charlottesville itself is a "hoax." We are saying the SPLC allegedly *HELPED* to engineer the conditions for it happening, and then materially aided-and-abetted a Unite the Right organizer and thereby promoted a clash between protesters and counter-protesters. Then the SPLC fundraised off it, successfully, and the Democrats weaponized it to push a bogus narrative in the 2020 election. So the SPLC benefited financially and the Democrats benefited politically. That is why the Biden administration shut down an investigation into the SPLC after banks flagged its suspect activities. I don't know why you leftists continue to pretend that we're all stupid. It's a tired act. When you flail with these vapid counter-arguments, it just makes you look like a huckster, in addition to a race grifter.

The recent post from @realDonaldTrump is truly wicked act of betrayal. @RealAlexJones fought for Trump for over a decade. Long before it was popular to do so. There was a time when Alex had more viewers than virtually every major news station. He lost all his channels and was sued into oblivion, in large part, because of his fierce loyalty to Trump. I know some of the guys at @infowars personally. They all love Trump and simply wanted to see him get back to the promises he made to the American people. It’s rare to see such shameless betrayal.

1) Just because someone has money doesn't mean you or the government are entitled to it. 2) If you force investors like Bezos to liquidate investments to pay taxes, then it will cost jobs and growth. 3) I don't know who this stuff is meant to fool, but anyone with any experience with government knows that adding $200 million or even $200 billion to federal budgets won't accomplish any of those things. We run a 2 trillion dollar annual deficit. That money would, as best, go toward paying off the interest on our debt. And if you created a new entitlement as you are suggesting, it would be so filled with fraud and waste within 2 years that it could eat up Bezos' entire fortune while barely helping anyone.COVID-19 To prove the point, Minnesota tried to offer to pay for meals for kids during Covid-19. The result was the Feeding Our Future scandal, where dozens of people conspired to steal $250 million+ from the program. We can start talking about increasing tax revenue and adding new programs when the people who run the government can show they can effectively use the massive budgets they already have instead of wasting them. Until then, stop demanding more of other people's money.

Hey @KTVU, I read your article about the outrageous items in the 2025 end-of-the-year spending spree under Pete Hegseth. It was very informative. Then I went to the same watchdog website and pulled up the 2024 end-of-the-year spending spree under Lloyd Austin and you wouldn't believe what I found. I think it's safe to say you would find it equally outrageous, had you bothered to look - either before you published this piece or when it came out a year ago on the same website. I've included a link and have attached a comparison for your convenience. I'd love to hear back from you as to whether you find the 2024 Austin expenditures equally outrageous, or if it tempers your outrage at the 2025 Hegseth expenditures. One would think a news organization would consider it to be a valuable bit of context with which to better inform your readers. It's a shame you didn't bother to look it up. 🚨 SNAP Shock: Far many more millions in Food Aid Spent on 🦀 King Crab, 🦞 Lobster & 🥩 Steaks than the Department of War 🇺🇸 From an official government research study of $6.58 billion dollars in SNAP expenditures, $1.9 million dollars were spent on king crab, $2.2 million dollars were spent on lobster and $28.4 million on select beef loins. Federal SNAP spending in 2024 was $99.8 billion. Scaled up, that means SNAP recipients spent $28.8 million dollars on king crab, $33.36 million dollars on lobster, and $430.75 million on steaks. DoW spent $2 million on Alaskan king crab, $6.9 million on lobster tail, $15.1 million on ribeye steak. Ask any journalist pushing the "Hegseth is spending money on lobster" propaganda if they're willing to cut out those categories for SNAP recipients. They will not be.
