@senkodev haha, I was hoping it would. I was going bot fishing! It's actually less than last time which is surprising.
English

@nick99nack be very careful, mentioning the art*st word here triggers a bunch of bots

@nick99nack Did you take this photo? If so, can NewsNation use it on all platforms in perpetuity with a credit to you?

Hey @Dell @DellCares can you PLEASE make support.dell.com actually point to your support page as it has for the last 20+ years?
The redirect to the main website is one of the worst decisions you've ever made.

@danrwall @DefiantLs Nobody "must have" most of that. You can still get a landline phone, you don't need streaming services (used movies are cheap at thrift stores and yard sales and free OTA TV still exists if you just hook up an antenna), just use a standard doorbell...
English

A little perspective on the whole picture.
There are differences. Such as things we "must" have now that didn't exist then or weren't considered necessary.
1. A cell phone for everyone in the family.
2. A phone plan for each of those phones.
3. Internet service.
4. Streaming services and/or satellite and/or cable services
5. Various other electronics ring door bells, alexa devices, computers, tablets, ear buds. Printers and more.
6. Multiple TVs
These things cost an average household thousands of dollars a month. Which in 1950 dollars would be hundreds but a significant impact on monthly budgets even then.
Add those things to wages not keeping up with prices and the impact is magnified.

@thecomputerclan Wow. I completely forgot that existed until this post. I distinctly remember this commercial, too. I wanted one, but never got one.
