Today, Israeli settlers seized control of the only iron gate leading to the Christian village of Taybeh in the West Bank, closing it off and restricting movement in and out of the village. The gate was installed by the Israeli army, which controlled when it opened and closed, but now settlers are taking control of these gates. savewestbankchristians.com

I was shocked when Kamala Harris didn’t run for governor of California. I have nothing against her, but I would have thought she would recognize her own weaknesses and try to actually *do something* before running for President again.

@CameronCorduroy @torture_nexus Bibi losing is at least 50%. The last time he got two polls in a row where he was wining was April. The election is October. The settlement freeze and him going to jail are at least somewhat likely if he loses because large parts of the Israeli population want both.

@MAPTA01 @trouble_man90 My experience with the woke stuff is similiar. Black folk don't want you to cry for your ancestor's sins, but you'd better acknowledge those sins, and be willing to listen to complaints about current sins. DSA went all-in on woke, to the point that some of them get...cagey.

@magi_jay You heard the twitter rumor that the Kurds were ready to invade in support of the IDF, but Trump called them off because Erdogan? I'm not going to positively assert I believe that to be true, but it fits in with the known facts, and Trump's known dumbosity, quite well.

I can't think of another war/intervention that involved solely Air Power. Even the height of air power examples--like Kosovo--involve ground forces as well (KLA). I personally want the admin to speak to their justification for this new theory of warfare they came up with.

Well that's very simple. The UK is just like most countries, in that the welfare of women and girls is never a topic of concern in and of itself. It has to be laundered into neanderthal chud concerns about neighboring tribes stealing the women with hyperbolic language that overstates the racial problem, especially and gleefully so if it is genuine, or can't be talked about at all out of fear of being seen as having neanderthal chud concerns. In the tension of these two populist ideologies, it is revealed that neither gives a damn about rape.

One of the craziest things about the UK rape gang scandal is that it's largely considered a 'right wing' concern. In a sane, serious country, it would be completely bipartisan. In fact, it wouldn't even be seen as a political issue, but one of basic justice and morality.

The first anti-Hamas protest just kicked off TODAY in front of Nasser Hospital (Khan Younis) and Al-Shifa Hospital (Gaza City) — against Hamas selling spots on the medical travel list, profiting off the names of people desperate to leave for treatment instead of granting exit based on actual medical need. Wounded Palestinians who joined today's protest are speaking out, criticizing journalists in Gaza for refusing to cover the demonstrations and ignoring their demands.

Texas is still red, but running a campaign on James Talarico shares a bank account with his mom, is maybe a vegan, is maybe a little bit gay but also has a hot Latina girlfriend, isn’t really a winning message. Especially when Paxton is so flawed and gave a sweetheart deal to an admitted child molester. Cost of living. Healthcare. That’s what persuadable voters want to hear about.
