Chuck Norris held a 183-10-2 record and was a 6x world champion in full contact bare knuckle karate. On top of that, he beat heavyweight kickboxing world champion Joe Lewis 3 consecutive times and also had a brutal sparring match with undefeated kickboxing world champion, Bill Superfoot Wallace, that lasted an hour and a half. According to Wallace, they practically stalemated and "beat the crap out of each other". Chuck was trained in kickboxing/boxing by Benny The Jet Urquidez and was also trained in BJJ by the Gracies and Machados for 20 years. Even being able to submit Carlos Machado himself on occasion. Chuck had a 315 Ibs bench press at 180 lbs bodyweight and was said to have a grip back in the day that nobody could escape from because he was so strong. Even Jean Claude Van Damme said he'd never fight Chuck Norris, despite being a kickboxing world champion himself. Chuck held a 10th degree black belt in Chun Kuk Do, a 9th degree black belt in Tang Soo Do, an 8th degree black belt in Taekwondo, a 5th degree black belt in Karate, a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a black belt in Judo. Rest in peace, Chuck!

Quentin Tarantino fires back at "Pulp Fiction" star Rosanna Arquette after she criticized his use of the N-word in movies as "racist and creepy." "Dear Rosanna, I hope the publicity you’re getting from 132 different media outlets writing your name and printing your picture was worth disrespecting me and a film I remember quite clearly you were thrilled to be a part of? Do you feel this way now? Very possibly. But after I gave you a job, and you took the money, to trash it for what I suspect is verycynical reasons, shows a decided lack of class, no less honor. There is supposed to be an esprit de corps between artistic colleagues. But it would appear the objective was accomplished. Congratulations Q" variety.com/2026/film/news…

Actor Shia LaBeouf is facing SERIOUS Hollywood hate for comments addressing his recent arrest for battery in a New Orleans bar. LaBeouf claimed a gay man touched his leg and an altercation followed. "I'm good with gay, [but] be gay over there, though. Don't be gay in my lap!" he said. He was immediately lit up on social media as "homophobic." 🔥 Was his behavior homophobic, or was his response understandable?

The IRGC claims it fired four anti-ship ballistic missiles at the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Arabian Sea. The Pentagon has not confirmed a hit. It does not matter. What matters is what just happened for the first time in the history of naval warfare. A nation-state deliberately launched anti-ship ballistic missiles at a United States aircraft carrier. This is the scenario that the entire US Navy has been war-gaming for two decades. Not this specific attack. This category of attack. The anti-ship ballistic missile targeting an aircraft carrier at sea. China developed the DF-21D for precisely this purpose and the US Naval Institute assessed in 2009 that there was “currently no defense” against it if it worked as designed. The United States restructured its entire Pacific naval strategy around the theoretical possibility that a ballistic missile could be guided to strike a moving ship. It developed the AirSea Battle doctrine. It redirected most of its ballistic missile defense capable ships to the Pacific. It increased procurement of SM-3 interceptors. Billions of dollars. Decades of planning. All for a scenario that had never actually occurred in combat. Until now. Iran just ran the experiment. The Abraham Lincoln is operating off Oman with a carrier strike group that includes Aegis equipped destroyers carrying SM-3 and SM-6 interceptors, the most sophisticated naval missile defense architecture ever deployed. The strike group carries F-35C stealth fighters with advanced sensor fusion, E-2D Advanced Hawkeye airborne early warning aircraft, and EA-18G Growlers for electronic warfare. It is layered defense at its most extreme. If the IRGC’s four missiles were intercepted, it validates that the multi-billion dollar Aegis architecture works against real anti-ship ballistic missiles in real combat conditions, not simulations. That is worth more than the cost of the interceptors. But if even one missile penetrated the defense envelope, even without hitting the carrier, the implications cascade across every navy on earth. The Houthis came within 200 meters of the USS Eisenhower with an ASBM in 2024, according to the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point. That was a non-state actor with Iranian supplied weapons. This is the Iranian state itself, with its full indigenous missile program, targeting the Lincoln with dedicated anti-ship ballistic missiles. The Abraham Lincoln is a 100,000 ton nuclear powered aircraft carrier carrying approximately 80 aircraft and 5,000 personnel. It costs $13 billion to replace. Its strike group represents the single most concentrated expression of American military power on earth. The entire theory of American force projection since 1945 rests on the assumption that carrier strike groups can operate with acceptable risk in contested waters. China has built its entire anti-access strategy around challenging that assumption. Iran just tested it live. CENTCOM stated that it suffered no casualties and minimal damage from hundreds of Iranian missile and drone attacks across the region. If that assessment holds for the Lincoln specifically, it means Aegis works. It means the carrier remains viable in a ballistic missile environment. It means China’s DF-21D theory does not automatically translate to carrier kills. That would be the most consequential combat validation of American naval defense systems since the Patriot batteries of 1991, and far more significant because the target was moving. The IRGC’s claim may be propaganda. The missiles may have been intercepted hundreds of miles from the ship. Or they may have splashed close enough to vindicate every admiral who argued that the carrier era is ending. We will not know the full truth for days or weeks. But the strategic fact is already established. The taboo against firing ballistic missiles at an American aircraft carrier has been broken. Every navy on earth is now recalculating. open.substack.com/pub/shanakaans…

The USS Gerald R. Ford is not parked near Iran. It is parked off Israel. And nobody is asking the only question that matters: why. The $13.3 billion crown jewel of the US Navy, the largest warship ever constructed, just positioned itself off Haifa. Not in the Arabian Sea where the Lincoln sits 850 kilometers from Iranian shores loaded for offensive operations. Not in the Gulf where strike range is optimal. Off Israel. Defending Israel. This is not redundancy. This is architecture. Two carriers. Two missions. Two entirely different strategic functions. The Lincoln is the sword, positioned to launch strike packages into Iranian airspace within hours of an order. The Ford is the shield, its Aegis missile defense systems creating an umbrella over Israeli population centers against the retaliation that follows the first Tomahawk. America just split its carrier doctrine into offense and defense simultaneously. That has not happened since the Pacific theater in 1945. But the positioning reveals something deeper than tactics. When Iran retaliates, and every wargame says Iran retaliates, its missiles and drones fly toward Israel. They will fly through the same airspace where a US carrier strike group is now stationed. Every Iranian missile aimed at Tel Aviv or Haifa must traverse the Ford’s defensive envelope. Shooting at Israel means shooting at, around, and through an American carrier group. Iran cannot retaliate against Israel without engaging American naval assets. The Ford’s position makes that physically impossible. The carrier is not defending Israel as a favor. It is positioned so that any Iranian response to American strikes automatically becomes an attack on American forces, triggering the full unrestrained weight of US military response without a single additional political decision required. This is escalation insurance written in steel and seawater. If the campaign goes longer than planned, if munitions run thin in 7 to 10 days, if allies hesitate, the Ford’s position ensures that Iranian retaliation does the political work Washington cannot do alone: it transforms a limited American strike into an act of self-defense that no ally can refuse to support. You do not park a $13.3 billion carrier where the enemy’s return fire will hit it unless you want the enemy’s return fire to hit it. The Ford is not there to prevent escalation. The Ford is there to guarantee that if escalation comes, it comes on terms that make American restraint politically impossible and allied participation politically unavoidable. open.substack.com/pub/shanakaans…
