This is a memo to nepo baby actors in Hollywood. Not directed at anyone in particular. But just because your parents didn’t personally make calls to get you a job doesn’t mean you didn’t benefit from nepotism. Simply being the son or daughter of “so-and-so” gets you moved to the front of the line among thousands of actors competing for the attention of agents, managers, and casting directors. That doesn’t mean you aren’t talented or that you don’t work hard. But it’s incredibly either delusional or naive to pretend you didn’t have a head start.
