Status Network
Status Network@StatusL2·
Today Status Network's gasless execution moves to a larger stage. After productive discussions among both ecosystems, Status Network will merge into @LineaBuild Mainnet! Pre-deposit vaults will migrate to Linea Mainnet for withdrawal with a liquid reward pool of 20M SNT and 20M LINEA. Vaults remain fully backed and no action is required before the claim interface goes live. Status Network will not launch as a standalone mainnet. The plan is to merge our gasless execution model and sequencer-level spam protection mechanism upstream to become native capabilities for every rollup built on the Linea stack. This move will unlock new privacy primitives for the whole ecosystem as removing gas eliminates persistent onchain funding trails and fingerprints, enabling ephemeral stealth accounts and free cover traffic. I started heavily using my @Keycard_ Shell with @Rabby_io. The UX is just perfect, swapping cards in an instant. I might order another Shell, this is too useful to only have one. (My fiancée thinks I'm some kind of spy, seeing me scanning & showing QR codes all around my screens & webcam)

@vrycmfy Switching from OpenClaw to Hermes now. Still using @chutes_ai as my main provider with GLM 4.7 (MiniMax didn't make the cut for me in the end)

Today, we will have my good friend @mbauwens join us on @Logos_network to discuss post-state coordination, stigmergy, netarchical societies, and p2p mutualization. Don't miss this; Michel is one of the foremost intellectuals regarding civilizational transitions.
Logos@Logos_network

What if humanity's role isn't to retreat from technology OR accelerate extraction, but to orchestrate regeneration? Cosmo-localism as post-civilisational coordination: shared knowledge, local production, commons-based limits. Join us with @mbauwens. x.com/i/spaces/1wxWj…

Since GLM 4.6 is about to be decommissioned on @chutes_ai, I switched to MiniMax-M2.5 (TEE). I like it a lot so far. It seems smarter to me, more efficient and it is cheaper. Even though the API seems a bit slower to reply.

Nonviolent communication and emotional intelligence, if fully activated, could save the world from geopolitical unrest and the tensions between its peoples. We need to build cultures that care about these ideas as much as we do technology, freedom, and individual autonomy.

“The official Telegram team did absolutely nothing [to bypass Russian censorship blocking] until community came with ready-made solution, explaining the exact byte changes.”, and Durov even don’t mention community in his self-admiration post. habr.com/ru/articles/10…

I can't recommend @LumaLabsAI enough. The other day, my fiancée asked me how she can do face swapping. I ended up finding Luma thanks to their Partner Node for ComfyAI. I then decided to try it for myself and feed it screenshots of the documentation site I've been working on for the 1st stable release of my UI component library based on @ac1d_info's Logos Design System. Well, now I've got a bunch of tickets to address.

I don't spend most of my time discussing geopolitics because it's a source of anxiety and a persistent black pill. But I want to inject some sobriety into the world, which I think is necessary from an activist standpoint. Okay, first off: Fuck war. Fuck it in all of its incarnations, iterations, and projections. War is antithetical to human flourishing. It only exists as a result of accumulated zero-sum games in politics over time. It is the apotheosis or final output of the political mindset. Here is another novel concept: both the US Trump regime and the Iranian regime are evil and vile. Frankly, all governments have a history of massively harming their population. They differ only in degree and volume in the harms they distribute across cultures and geographies. Governments, by their nature, are protection rackets at best and legitimized warlords at worst. Next, pretty much all communications from either side right now are propaganda. War is a massive engine for the development of lies, fake news, and bloviating. This is a historical truth; only recent technologies and artificial intelligence have geometrically amplified the problem. This is one of the primary reasons why commenting on the geopolitical situation regarding "news" is risky business and probably a waste of time. I give props to those in alternative media who are doing their level best to spread actual news. They have a Herculean task in front of them. The last thing I want to mention is for those who are bamboozled by the Trump regime and much of the US-inspired propaganda. Yes, the Iranian regime has its share of evil practices, but most of you are totally and woefully ignorant of history. The idea that Iran and terrorist cells in the Middle East just hate America for its freedoms or hate America for some other imagined reason is a half-truth at best. I say this with the kindest candor I can muster. The US empire has been co-opting, bombing, manipulating, sabotaging, deceiving, and otherwise fucking with the Middle East for decades. Just read Chalmer Johnson's book Blowback to really understand how some of these dynamics were exacerbated and accelerated. Also, follow @scotthortonshow, who is an expert on this stuff. If you believe that the US is actually pursuing freedom and protecting people, I would encourage you to reassess your priors, read some material from the above, and stop listening to establishment talking heads. The best thing we can do to deal with this is to pursue the creation of a new world, especially as this one spirals out of control. We need to prepare the infrastructure for a world that does not uplift megalomaniacs and psychopaths. This is probably our only hope moving forward. We can't keep politicking and nation-stating. We can't keep doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results, as the saying goes. That is all.

@Logos_network With a lot of focus on exit, sovereignty, and consensus mechanisms in the network states movement, one question is often overlooked — what binds people beyond incentives? My answer is culture. It is made collectively, slowly, by people who care and bring change.

Crypto has drifted from its roots. Satoshi called out TradFi in the genesis block: "Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks." But today, legacy finance has co-opted Bitcoin and the wider space. CEXs dominate trading volume. And DeFi protocols bake in surveillance mechanisms to appease the very entities crypto was supposed to disempower. Normies don't take any of it seriously, seeing crypto for what it's become: a casino for speculation on monkey jpegs and celebrity-endorsed vaporware. Not a technological movement for human emancipation. But the cypherpunk vision wasn't about leverage. It wasn't about memecoins. And it certainly didn't pander to BlackRock. It was about building technologies that let us live on our own terms. Tools that allow us to transact freely, organize without asking permission, exit systems that don't serve us, and enable us all to take part in society on an equal footing. I'm still here because I still believe in blockchain's potential. And I know my peers at @Logos_network, @Logos_tech, and @ethstatus agree. The cypherpunk values that birthed crypto still influence every line of code we write, every architectural decision we make. And we won't compromise to appease others. Big thanks to @Cointelegraph for letting me vent. cointelegraph.com/opinion/crypto…

Pangrams use every letter of the alphabet: > The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. There are also phonetic pangrams, which include every sound: > The hungry purple dinosaur ate the kind, zingy fox, the jabbering crab, and the mad whale and started vending and quacking.

It started as a late night personal experiment, and turned it into something people actually wanted to own. I’m endlessly so grateful for everyone who relentlessly supports my work. The preorder launch yesterday was a really happy moment for me in a year that’s otherwise been full of personal loss and grief. Thank you to all my friends, thank you to the Offline team for all their hardwork, thanks @jack for the repost and support, thanks @trq212 and team for letting a “non-technical” founder like me turn my late night whimsy into apps and hardware. In 2 days I turn a year older, in a week Offline Protocol turns 2 years old. I’ve never been more excited about the opportunity to build things I’m passionate about and challenge the status quo by bringing access to connectivity for everyone, everywhere.
