I am deeply saddened by the passing of Comrade Onapito Ekomoloit. He was a remarkable man—gracious, peaceful, and always a voice of reason. A skilled negotiator, his patriotism and commitment to the betterment of our country were inspiring to all who knew him. My deepest sympathies and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

I am saddened to learn the sudden passing of senior colleague at MUBS, Dr Jolly Kabagabe Byarugaba (on my left in the photo). When I passed by MUBS a fortnight ago she was so happy to see me. My sincere sympathies to her family and entire MUBS family. May her soul Rest In Peace.
