"Service members killed" - It's a war.
"taxes wasted" - Actually one of the rare times taxes are being used for something that's actually worth it
"bases blown up" - 100s of IRGC bases have been obliterated in Iran, ~14 mostly empty bases for the U.S. across the Gulf have been hit.
"no material gain for the American public" - Destroying a long time adversary and weakening China and Russia's geopolitical position is a good thing, actually. Even if most of the public is too dumb to realize it
